Cupid's POV

I was just sitting on a table dangling my feet over the edge of the table. I'm normally left at the Fairy Tail guild hall when Dan and Lucy go on a date. Happy walks over and sits beside me. Oh yeah when Lisanna came back Natsu and Lisanna started dating so Happy is normally left here as well.

"What's wrong Happy? You normally aren't one to sulk like me?" I asked him turning towards the blue exceed.

"It's just Carla keeps rejecting me. I don't know why." Happy states gloomily.

"Cheer up Happy. She probably only sees you as a brother which is a lot better than being avoided isn't it?" I said to him.

"You're right." Happy declares standing up with vigor as he wanders off with a fish in his mouth.

How did he... Where did he even get that fish?

"I'm surprised you actually were able to cheer up Happy." Pantherlily says to me walking beside me.

"Where's your dragon slayer?" I asked him as we are rarely left like toys.

"Right here." Gajeel states from behind me.

I shivered as Black Steel Gajeel still terrifies me. Gajeel isn't as Kind as Sky Maiden Wendy or as cool as Salamander Natsu or even as chill as Knight Dan.

"Well good to know that there's two of us that weren't left behind like toys." I stated to Black Steel Gajeel.

"Two?" Gajeel asks curiously.

"Pantherlily and Carla. They aren't left behind because their owners aren't total idiots." I stated to him standing on the table.

I did have a human form but rarely use it as there wasn't a need for it. I don't even use it in the guild hall. Where I do use it is in front of a mirror at home when I'm trying to find clothes to put on for that specific day. Pantherlily has his strength and transformation magic, Carla has her clairvoyance, Happy makes everyone smile. What's so special about me? I have no clue other than my human transformation which isn't special to me as Carla also has it. I should know she's shown me it a few times before.

"Carla let's go do something." Wendy says to Carla.

"Alright Child." Carla says running after Sky Maiden Wendy.

"Now if you'll excuse me I have some more sulking to do." I said to Gajeel and Pantherlily walking away.

I jumped off the table and started walking over to the second floor. I was also the only S class exceed in Fairy Tail. Although now everyone can go up here though very rarely. I started walking through the hallway of the second floor. Little did I know but Carla was a few feet behind me, after Wendy and Carla got back Carla started following my scent.

I finally turned in front of a door it normally leads to the game room, which is where I normally hang out in. I pushed open the door and walked in, I sat down at the small couch that's in there for exceeds. I grabbed my controller and started playing my game. That's when my ears twitched as I heard the door open again.

"Hold on Gramps I'm busy." I said to the person who just entered believing it's Master Makarov. As really the only time he comes in here is to get me to go home with Dan.

"It's not Master." Carla says to me walking around the big couch.

I paused my game and set it on the floor. I got up off the couch and hugged Carla. We've been dating in secret for almost a year now.

"So what are you playing?" Carla asks me while we walked over to the couch again and sat side by side.

"It's nothing now that you're here." I said to Carla as we hugged again both purring into each other.

"How about we watch a movie?" I said to Carla getting up off the couch.

"I'd much rather watch you play." Carla says to me.

"Really? Why?" I asked Carla.

"I just always loved watching you play." Carla says to me shrugging.

"Well y'know we should not be sitting so close to each other when we're in here. People might find out." I said to her as she nods. Yes somehow someway we've fooled everyone in the guild into thinking we're only good friends especially the dragon slayers whom have the strongest noses. Love has a very distinct aroma that it's impossible to miss. Maybe they've already figured it out and is just wanting us to come clean. Honestly, I don't really know. I sat down on the couch and forgot I'm using a handheld so I scooch next to Carla.

Carla looks over my shoulder entranced by the game I'm playing. That's when Happy and Pantherlily walks in.

"Hey guys." I said to them as they all sat down next to me trying to see me play. They say I'm always entertaining to watch but I never understand why.

I purposefully put my tail on my lap so it won't go towards Carla's like it does when me and her are alone. Normally on our dates my tail and Carla's become like magnets they always go towards each other. Our tails always entangles the other's tail as well, it's honestly super adorable.

"Carla it's time to go home. Happy I'm also here to tell you that Natsu's looking for you." Wendy says from the door.

"Alright Wendy I'm coming." Carla says to Wendy getting off the couch.

"I should go find Gajeel." Pantherlily says out loud getting up off the couch as well as Happy.

"I'll be right back Wendy. I need to say bye to my best friend." Carla says to Wendy walking in and closing the door. We hugged each other and licked the other really quickly. Then she walks back out and I just sat back down on the couch waiting until the Master comes in to get me.

What surprised me was my dragon slayer actually comes in to get me.

"Wow I'm not forgotten. Good to know you still care." I said sarcastically to him.

"Yeah, I'm sorry buddy but you know women they can be very persuasive when they want to." Dan says to me.

"Do you believe that I know how that feels just because I'm good friends with a girl myself?" I asked him with a glare.

"Yeah, I kinda did." Dan says to me looking away from my glare.

"Well I don't. Let's just go home." I said saving my game and turning off the machine and getting up and walking out.

"Little buddy." Dan says mortified that he just compared Lucy to Carla. If there's one thing that ticks me off it's when my dragon slayer or anyone compares human girls to Carla. I just walked home with my arms crossed. When I finally got home I just slammed my body into the bed and fell asleep.

Only to be woken up by Carla knocking on my window. I opened it and she flew in.

"My 'friend' sense was tingling. Did something happen?" Carla says to me closing my window softly then proceeded to hug me.

"Yeah, Dan compared you to Lucy." I said to her returning the hug.

"Cupid you need to stop getting so worked up on that. After all you know they are right." Carla says to me licking my cheek.

"Still can't believe it's almost been a year." I said to Carla.

"Neither can I. I have left a note for Wendy. Honestly that child would be lost without me." Carla says in her princessy tone.

"So what do you want to do Carla?" I asked her since at 2:45 AM it would officially be our one year anniversary to the exact date and time.

It would be our anniversary of Carla confessing to me and me finally accepting her feelings.

"Hmm cuddle?" Carla asks as we both walk to my bed which is a normal sized bed.

"How are we gonna keep this a secret any longer?" I asked Carla.

"I don't know Cupid. Honestly it takes a lot to not reveal it to Tomcat. I know how much he can't keep a secret." Carla says to me.

"I think we should tell everyone tomorrow. I'm strong enough so if Happy tries to kill me he won't be able to." I said to Carla.

Little did we know after Wendy read the letter she went to the other dragon slayers and went to Dan's house and are currently listening in.

"You sure they can handle with the fact that we've been dating in secret for a full year?" Carla says to me.

"Oh I certainly hope so. Happy is like my brother I'd rather see him enjoying life and not be tied down by a Princess." I said to Carla who proceeds to slap my cheek then lick the same cheek.

"You know how I feel about Edolas. But you're very sweet for looking out for Tomcat and Lily." Carla says to me.

"Thanks babe." I said to Carla as we fell asleep hugging each other wrapping our tails together.

We didn't hear the door opening nor saw the flash of a lacrima. Happy was crying out of sadness and happiness. Pantherlily was just awkwardly patting Happy's back. While the Dragon slayers were saying awe because it's an adorable scene. All of them were also surprised because none of them noticed mine and Carla's relationship.

In the morning myself and Carla got up.

"Do you think you can fly home?" I asked Carla.

"I'll try." Carla says to me as she opens the window and licks my cheek one final time before flying out. I closed the window and went towards my bedroom door opening it. I proceeded to walk out into the entrance to the bedroom part of the house.

I walked down the stairs to see Dan asleep at the table.

"Hey Dan. Ugh you look terrible did you get any sleep last night?" I asked him.

"Wendy and the other dragon slayers came over with the other exceeds didn't get any sleep. Wendy gave me a note and said that Carla was in Cupid's room. Took photo." Dan says to me completely out of it.

I walked over to the lacrima and saw it. It was from last night when we went to sleep. I'm normally better at hearing than this. It's not like Natsu and Gajeel to be quiet. But now Happy knows and I can't help but feel awful.

I then quickly got dressed and ran towards the guild hall. Dang you tiny cat legs! Some of you may wonder why don't I just fly like Happy or any other exceed? Thing is I can't do that. I don't have wind magic like they do I use water magic which overpowers most, if not all the dragon slayers. I finally made it to the guild hall and saw Happy there. Plus if I do have wings they haven't came in yet.

"Okay you can do this Happy. Just go in there and ask Cupid why he lied." Happy says to himself as he put a paw on the door.

"Happy!" I screamed out.

"Why did you lie?" Happy asked me.

"I never once lied to you Happy. Take it from me, Carla is super high maintenance. You are my brother and I wanted to protect you from being hurt. Three months into me dating Carla I asked her why she didn't date you. Do you want to know what she said to me?" I asked him as he just nods still with tears in his eyes.

"Carla said that she saw you as more of a brother than a lover. Yes we're all the same age but trust me it's better to be the brother than being ignored. Dan wasn't always this lucky with Lucy." I said to Happy as I comforted him like a big brother should. Oh right I forgot to mention I'm slightly older than Pantherlily. Pantherlily is slightly older than Carla. Carla is slightly older than Happy. We're all still the same age of six human years but varying in wisdom.

"So cheer up Happy. There's more fish in the sea." I said to Happy as he perks up at the mention of Fish. I wrapped an arm around Happy and led him to the nearest fish pond. I grabbed two fishing rods and passed one to Happy. We just fished and talked about random stuff until Dan walks up to us.

"What are you guys doing?" Dan asks.

"Bonding." Myself and Happy replied almost immediately. After receiving his answer Dan waltzes to the guild hall.

That's when Carla and Pantherlily walks up and sits down behind us.

"So you and Carla? When exactly did that happen?" Happy asks me. Obviously myself and Happy didn't realize Carla and Pantherlily were sitting behind us.

"It's actually a funny story. Just like you were with Carla, she was that way with me. When suddenly on an S Class mission we were asked to exterminate monsters that's been terrorizing an island. Well Dan and Lucy were dating and I didn't feel like asking for help from the other S Class wizards I was gonna ask Pantherlily and you, Happy but you both went home for the day. So I asked Carla and Wendy for help. Wendy was hesitant until I said 'I will protect both of you with my life' and that I did. I was heavily injured protecting the both of them. I got the mission done but almost died doing so. I was in need of constant healing Wendy handled that but I was still brain dead until Carla kept begging me to fight on so I fought against my death. When I awoke Carla was sitting right there beside me. She confessed her feelings to me I was shocked at first but thought what's the difference between friend and girlfriend so I accepted. It wasn't till she licked my cheek for the first time that it finally clicked and I started doing it too but then I started enjoy doing it. Then one thing led to the next and we're dating a year ago today." I said to Happy as I was slapped in the head by a fish I caught. I swam up to the surface of the pond to see Carla holding a fish blushing.

"Why did you tell them the story? I thought we agreed to keep our history between you and me." Carla says to me still holding the fish.

"Well they knew about us anyways last night. I saw the lacrima photo everyone will want to know how it happened." I said to Carla jumping out of the pond and dug my claws into the wood. I then pulled myself up.

"I have no doubt that Natsu told everyone." I said to them as I walked away from the three of them back to the guild hall.

"Wait bro. What about the fish we caught?" Happy asks me.

"Go ahead and eat them Happy. You deserve them." I said to him as I continued to walk away only to be caught up by Carla.

"Hold it mister!" Carla says to me pulling my tail making me stop.

"You aren't going in there looking like a wet dog." Carla says to me using her wind magic to dry me off. I was thankful for her so I gave her a lick on the head. As Carla blushes and shyly looks away.

We walked into the guild hall expecting hate because we weren't Mira's favorite exceed ship. Instead we were met with awe's and adoration. I was stunned in my spot until Carla dragged me up the stairs to the game room by my paw. We sat down on the couch we normally sit at.

"I was honestly expecting boo's and hate. After all when Mira ships something she forces everyone to enjoy that ship." I said to Carla as we were both blushing.

"I wasn't expecting that. Especially since Mira said to both me and Tomcat that we'd make a fine ship. But now at least there's more breathing room for us to grow." Carla says to me.

"Yeah at least now we don't have to hide it anymore." I said to Carla taking her paw in my own.

We got up off the couch and walked back into the guild hall paw in paw. In the middle of our walk to the door our tails subconsciously wrapped around each other since we weren't making any effort to stop it. I opened the door and we walked out and were still met with awe's and cheering. We both were blushing hard. We walked down to see Wendy and Happy telling the story to everyone in the guild. I had to actually hold Carla up in the air to stop her from beating Happy in to the ground.

I hopped on one of the tables and reached over the side to help Carla up. I grabbed her paw and pulled her up onto the table.

We just walked over to Happy whom was currently eating the fish we caught earlier.

"Are you okay Happy?" I asked him putting my paw on his shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm good." Happy says smiling genuinely.

"Alright well I'll talk to you again later little bro." I said to him getting up and walking past him rubbing his head with my paw. That's when we came up to Team Natsu.

"Gray your clothes." I said to Gray as he looks down.

"Crap!" Gray shouts out loud looking around for his clothes.

"Good morning Erza." I said to her with a slight wave.

"Hello to you two as well." Erza says smiling.

Carla walks over to Wendy.

"How are you doing Wendy?" Carla asks Wendy.

"I'm worried about Happy. He was so crushed when we found out last night. But I'm happy for you both." Wendy states to Carla as I overheard.

My tail actually pulls me to Carla's side.

"Woah, Hello." I said as my tail pulls me across the table then wraps around hers.

"Gotta say I was surprised to find out you two were seeing each other. Especially with what happened just now. Here I thought Natsu was lying." Mira says to us smiling but I could feel the malicious intent in that smile.

"Hey I don't lie!" Natsu shouts at Mira. I jumped up and kicked Natsu in the face. I then caught Carla whom my tail dragged with me. I proceeded to place Carla back on the table.

"You're an idiot Natsu. Mira is already a ticking time bomb because we aren't her ship. Honestly I'm surprised she's even holding back the urge to strangle me." I said to Natsu whom I just kicked.

"Is that true Mira?" Lisanna asks her sister.

"It is." Mira states straight up.

"That's not very manly of you big sis." Elfman voices his opinion.

"Then fine you and me Cupid. Let's fight right here." Mira says to me.

"Huh? You want to fight a cat? Are you sure you haven't hit your head?" Erza asks Mirajane.

"Pantherlily has that form so I believe the other three can do something similar." Mira says to everyone listening which just so happened to be the entire guild.

"Alright, I'll come out and say it. Except for Happy we do have a form. Though it's to be expected for Happy to not have it. Watch closely everyone this is the true power of an S Class Wizard Exceed." I said to everyone transforming into my human form and landing on the ground.

That's when they felt my magical prowess for the first time and realized it just kept rising with no equal.

"I am older than Pantherlily by a minute this is the true power of the exceed." I said to Mira staring down at her since I'm Elfman's height.

"Since I'm feeling generous for your power and your family Mirajane Strauss. I shall give you ten seconds to decide if you still wish to fight me or have someone else fight me in your place." I said to her.

"Have you made your decision?" I asked her.

"Yes I want Happy to fight." Mira shouts. Everyone in the guild hall including the exceed were staring at Mira like she gone crazy. Who knows she probably has.

"Didn't you just hear me? I said Happy doesn't show signs of this form. Eh whatever." I said shrugging.

I walked over to Happy.

"Since the challenge has been directed to you Happy. You get to decide how we settle this." I said to him.

"I don't really want to." Happy states while eating fish.

"Fine a fish eating and fishing competition." I stated to him as he visibly drools. I transformed back into my exceed form letting everyone stop trembling.

"Yay Fish." Happy says to everyone getting up.

"If this is the only way for Mira to finally accept me and Carla I'll gladly do this." I said out loud. Everyone was confused about what I mean while both Dan and Carla gain slight tears in their eyes, as we both walked out of the guildhall towards the lake we were at earlier.

I passed him his fishing rod.

"Before we start Happy. Whoever gets the most fish gets an advantage in part two. This advantage they can either put half of the fish they caught onto their opponents plate making it more difficult to finish the challenge or get a 1 minute headstart on the fish. In order to win this you need to not only catch the most fish but also get to your plate first." I said to Happy as we cast our lines. I ended up catching 40 and Happy only caught 39.

"I'm going to be generous for you Happy. I'm going to choose to give you half of the fish I caught." I said to him picking up 20 fish from my plate and putting it on his.

Now he has to eat 59 fish which I know he can do. I know if he only had less than me to eat he'd complain.

"Isn't Cupid sweet?" Carla asks out loud to the spectators.

"What do you mean Carla?" Wendy asks holding Carla to her stomach.

"Cupid willingly gave Happy those fish so Happy wouldn't be upset. In the strategy it makes sense to do the minute advantage." Erza says to everyone making Happy look at me and start crying in my chest repeating thank you.

"That's so manly." Elfman shouts with tears in his eyes.

"Ready Little bro?" I asked Happy.

"Aye." Happy replies back.

"Ready set go." I shout as we start eating. I wasn't much of a fish person just like Carla. So every time I ate one I had to fight the urge to throw up. I finally finished my plate and Happy only had one bite left. Which is just saying he had 4 fish left. He ate three fish right off the bat then proceeded to eat 4 fish every second.

I got up and did a thumbs up then fainted. Carla caught me and flies off carrying me back home. She got into my room grabbed my pen and stabbed my leg. I started breathing again. Oh yeah forgot to mention I'm allergic to eating fish which is why I refuse to do it.

Carla sighs out a breath of relief. Any minute later and I'd be dead again. I then got up off my bed and proceeded to throw up in the toilet in my human form.

That's when the entire guild walks in or rather runs in. That's when they noticed Carla in her human form crying on my bed.

"Any second later and he'd be dead again." Carla says to them crying.

"What do you mean Carla?" Wendy asks Carla.

"What she means is Cupid's allergic to eating Fish. Which is why he doesn't do it." Dan says to everyone since Wendy didn't hear the explanation the first time that made the entire guild run in.

"Carla. Where's Cupid?" Happy says to Carla. As they now hear me throwing up in the bathroom.

"I'm going in." Happy says to everyone walking into the bathroom.

"Hey Happy." I said to him still throwing up.

"Why did you do this challenge?" Happy asks me. I finally stopped throwing up for a few minutes. I flushed it and turned towards him.

"Why? Well Mira wouldn't accept my love for Carla if I didn't do this. I needed to prove that if I do love Carla that death doesn't scare me. I'm sure Dan told everyone in the guild of my allergy. Which is why I've always steered clear of you offering me fish. How could you have known that I was allergic so I never held it against you. But Carla was the first exceed, no the first person I ever trusted with my embarrassing life threatening allergy. Even Dan didn't know it before Carla said I should tell him." I said to him as they all were shocked.

"Carla is that true?" Wendy asks Carla.

"It is child. I was the first one to know about it which is why I swore off eating fish. Yes it's because they are not appetizing to me but it was also because he couldn't enjoy it." Carla says to everyone.

Makarov knocks on the bathroom door.

"Come in Gramps." I said to him as I felt the urge to throw up again. So I threw up in the toilet again.

"Honestly it pains me to see you like this Cupid. You are as much of my own flesh and blood as Carla and Happy is. Which is to say a lot. It pains me to see you like this because it hurts a parent to see their child hurt." Master says to me.

"Thanks Master don't worry I should be good in a couple hours. Just have everyone leave until this is over. I'll be back in the guild hall soon." I said to Makarov as him and Happy left.

I then hear multiple feet leave the only ones still in my room are Dan and Carla.

I hear my bed move and then a soft knock.

"Come *gags* come in!" I said out loud as Carla walks in and sits beside me.

"You sure you want to be around me Carla? I can't eat fish, which already makes me less of a cat. Yes I know we're both technically not cats were exceed from Edolas. But Edolas no longer exists. Do you think we'll be able to ever find a family?" I said to Carla.

"We're family. Me and you, Cupid. I wouldn't trade you for anything." Carla says to me putting her head on top of my shoulder and patting my back.

"Heh your human form is still so cute." I said to Carla still throwing up. If I wasn't throwing up it would be way romantic.

After about three hours I was finally done but was severely weakened. Carla helps me walk out of the house. Dan left a note saying he'll be at the guild hall. Honestly that jerk left Carla to practically nurse me back to health. I was so weak that I was forced into my exceed form and Carla went into her exceed form as well. Carla put my arm around her neck and we walked back to the guild hall. When the guildhall came into view I heard Romeo shout some words.

"There they are!" Romeo shouts out loud for everyone to hear.

I was then grabbed by Erza.

"Put him down!" Carla demands of Erza.

"Carla no." I said weakly.

"You fool. Why didn't you tell anyone else about your allergy!" Erza says to me shaking me expecting an answer.

Carla kicks Erza away and catches me. Hugging me tightly.

"I can't lose you. Not again." Carla says to me.

Carla walks in past Erza whom was getting scolded by Gramps for shaking a sickly weak person. He refers it to being similar to shaking him when he's on his deathbed.

"Don't be so hard on Erza, Gramps it's my fault for only trusting two people." I said to him as we passed the two of them. I was then placed on Carla's lap. Yes she was in her human form and I was still too weak to hold my human form for more than a millisecond.

Wendy comes over and heals some of my strength.

"Thanks for doing this Wendy." Carla says to Wendy.

"It's alright Carla. We're partner's aren't we?" Wendy says smiling at Carla.

"Of course Child." Carla says to Wendy smiling and stroking me softly.

"Carla? Where are we?" I asked looking up at her.

"You're in the guild hall surrounded by friends." Carla says to me smiling.

"That's good. What happened with Happy? Did I win the fight?" I asked her. I forgot to mention that in the simplest terms I get hammered when I have my allergic reaction. So much so that I can't remember anything that happens during the time I have it to after.

"You won the fight, but at what cost? You're severely weakened and can't even lift your own paw." Carla says to me with tears in her eyes.

"Smile for me." I said to Carla placing my paw on her hand. As Carla smiles softly and keeps rubbing me.

"This is nice. I'm gonna get some sleep." I said to Carla yawning and falling asleep in her arms.

"That's unfortunately all I can do Carla." Wendy says to Carla.

"It's perfect Child. Thank you." Carla says to Wendy hugging her.

"I'm gonna be getting him home. I'll see you when he's back to full health." Carla says to Wendy transforming into her exceed form picking me up and sprouting wings.

"Remember don't do any jobs until I'm back with you." Carla says to Wendy sternly.

"But what about our rent? It's due in a few days." Wendy says to Carla.

"Fine we'll take a job after I put Cupid in his bed." Carla says to Wendy flying off with me in her arms.

Carla puts me into my bed then licks my forehead.

"I'll be right back." Carla says to me.

"Be careful." I said to Carla holding her paw in my own before falling back asleep letting go of her paw in the process.

"I will." Carla says to me before leaving. She gives me one more glance before flying back to the guildhall.

Happy and Pantherlily takes turns watching me in Carla's place. Since they saw me as the older brother which I was, but still it was nice. I grew closer to both Pantherlily and Happy as I woke up for a few minutes before falling back asleep. When Carla finally comes in I'm having both Happy and Pantherlily help me walk since being bedridden and weak will leave my legs out of commission for a few good weeks.

"Hey Carla." I said to her as she hugs me.

"Don't ever do something stupid like that again." Carla says to me crying into my chest.

"I think you two should leave." I said to Happy and Pantherlily. They both nod and walk out of the room probably both heading home. Which I don't blame them it has been around three days since Carla left for that job they must be tired of watching me night and day.

I just licked her a lot.

"Hehehe Cupid stop." Carla says to me giggling and blushing.

"But I want to show you how much I love you. You said you would be right back. A job normally takes a day or two why did it take three?" I asked Carla.

"Well Wendy's new motion sickness gave us a lot of drawbacks on transportation. So I had to fly her there and back until I got tired and ran out of magic, which the full trip took three days. Now I'm here back home." Carla says to me purring into my chest. Carla takes me back to my bed and lays down beside me.

"Carla are you here?" Wendy asks from the front door.

"Did you not tell her?" I asked Carla.

"No, I came straight here after I got Wendy off the train. I had a sudden burst of magical energy and energy at the thought of being in your arms again." Carla says to me.

I just snuggled into Carla and she snuggles into me as we both fell asleep not knowing what the future holds except for Carla. But what we do know is we'll face the future together.

I woke up from my sleep in the middle of the night and crawled over to go to the bathroom. Honestly it was a very pathetic display. I was halfway there that's when Carla got up. Transformed into her human form and grabbed me by the back tuff of my fur.

"Where do you think you're going?" Carla asks me turning me to face her seemingly glowing brown eyes.

"I need to go to the bathroom." I stated straight out hoping she'd release me from this hold. Instead I was surprised when she just walks into my bathroom and hovers me over the toilet.

"Carla. I'm too nervous to go to the bathroom." I said to her.

"Why?" Carla asks me.

"Maybe it's because you're watching. Or maybe it's because I'm too high up that I know I'd miss the toilet." I said to Carla as she moves me closer to the seat.

"Um Carla still can't. I'm only saying this because I don't want to pee on you." I said to her but she didn't move me.

"Only if I get to mark my scent on you later." Carla says to me looking away. I tried keeping in the pee and aim it to the toilet below me.

I got majority of it in the toilet but accidentally got some on Carla's skirt. I finished up and let out a sigh of relief. Carla walks me back to the bed and places me back on the bed.

Carla went back in her exceed form and got in bed with me.

"I won't let nothing hurt you Cupid." Carla purrs into my ear making it twitch.

I knew she was a Princess but to act like this? What happened to you Carla. I just hugged her closer to me she rubs our heads together in affection.

We fell asleep again and when we awoke in the morning there was a small wheelchair just sitting there.

"Heh imagine that. Guess Dan revealed that I can't fly like you or the other exceeds. Oh well." I said to Carla getting up only to fall flat on my face. Carla tried helping me up but I just held a hand out stopping her.

"As much as it might pain you to see me like this Carla, you need to let me try to do this on my own." I said to her getting up and using the wooden leg of my human sized bedside table to steady myself.

I then shakily but steadily walked over to the wheelchair and sat down in it.

"Well... That was successful..." I said to Carla out of breath. Carla comes over and pushes me out of my room.

"Now I don't know how we're going to get down the stairs?" I said to Carla only to stop realizing that a little elevator for wheelchairs was put in. Thankfully it was big enough for two exceeds so I didn't have to feel like a jerk and have Carla walk or fly down the stairs.

Carla also sees it and pushes me over to it and we both got on. As it started moving down the stairs. After a few long minutes we were finally down the stairs.

"Alright that takes too long. I'm gonna need to learn how to fly." I said to Carla who pushes me over to the tiny exceed dining table with food on it.

Carla proceeds to feed me.

"Carla please you need to eat as well." I begged Carla because I know Wendy and Carla don't get food when out on a job.

"Please I'm not hungry..." Carla states to me but her stomach growls.

"I think your stomach is trying to tell you something babe." I said to her.

"No it's not... *Growl* you're hearing things... *Growl that shakes the table*." Carla says to me only to be cut off by her clearly growling stomach.

"Uh huh. Okay then I'll feed you and you feed me." I said to her putting food in front of her face. As her growling stomach gets louder and louder. Carla gives in and takes a bite and scarfs the food in my hand down. Then takes a swig of water because she ate too fast.

"There you go. Was that so hard?" I said to her patting her head as she blushes.

I then got up off my wheelchair as we still had jobs to do as Fairy Tail Wizards. I almost fell only to catch myself on the table in front of me.

I tried getting my wings out and I think I was successful because I heard Carla gasp.

"Cupid your wings." Carla says to me crying happy tears.

"Yay I finally have wings." I said to her smiling. I looked behind me and was shocked instead of the normal white color of exceeds angelic wings. Mine was multicolored angelic wings.

"Heh imagine that, now I know what makes me special." I said to Carla smiling. As we walked out of the house since Dan was currently not there. Carla grabs my paw and we flew together. I was finally able to fly which made me so happy. When we finally touched down on the ground the entire guild gasps in shock at my wings.

I then tried waddling over to the table where Team Natsu was at. I forgot to mention myself and Dan were also apart of Team Natsu. Which I don't really know why it's called Team Natsu when there's 3 S Class wizards in this group. But I fell on my face time and time again. Carla was still trying to help me but at the end of her arguing her case I gave in.

Carla carried and flew me over there.

"Carla where were you?" Wendy asks Carla.

"I'm sorry child but I wanted to check up on Cupid. I should've left another note." Carla says to Wendy sitting me down on the table.

Carla's tail just wraps around mine which makes me blush as it's normally my tail that does this to hers.

Happy walks right up to me.

"You look so cool bro." Happy says to me like a kid who thinks their older sibling is the coolest person in the world.

"Heh thanks Happy." I said to him grinning as I was thankful I at least had mobility.

"How about a Race?" Pantherlily asks me flying over to my table.

I looked over to Carla unsure if I should take the challenge. Carla groans and just waves her paw in a way saying go ahead but I'm not helping you if you lose.

Dang Carla that hurts, that actually hurts. I flew up trying to keep me off of my feet so I don't embarrass myself in front of everyone.

"Alright let's do this Pantherlily." I said to him.

In strength he clearly has the advantage in that area as I'm still weak. However in speed I'm not really certain.

"Mind if I join in?" Happy asks with that bright smile on his face.

"Sure I don't mind." Myself and Pantherlily both state.

"So what's the goal?" I asked Pantherlily.

"There's a ball on the rafters that Gajeel put up there as a prank." Pantherlily says to both myself and Happy.

"Oh you mean this ball?" I asked him revealing the ball from behind my back.

"Nani!" The entire guild shouts.

"How? I didn't even see you move." Pantherlily asks me. Before he challenged me to the race he saw it was up there.

"Oh it was when you were explaining. Somehow my wings grant me such speed that everyone was in slow motion. I also had time on my hands so I painted that." I said to them pointing above the Fairy Tail emblem. They looked at where I was pointing and saw the same symbol that we've done for the past couple years. The same one the Master does every time he finishes one of his big speeches. It wasn't small either it was as big as the Fairy Tail emblem itself.

"What the?" Pantherlily and Gajeel both shouts. As Lucy finally wakes up and everyone noticed what I did. I started covering my mouth with both of my paws trying to stifle my laughter.

"Hey Lucy, nice moustache." I said to her laughing. Yes I made it look like a mice's tail. That's why I said moustache.

"Honestly you can be such a tomcat." Carla says to me.

"Well Happy is my brother so it makes sense." I said to Carla shrugging.

Erza looks at Lucy and chuckles.

"That's actually pretty good." Erza says chuckling. That's when she looks at Gray noticing his shirt gone and so is Natsu's and I drew on them making them look fat. This makes Erza die of laughter.

"What's she laughing at?" Natsu and Gray asked each other. Then looks at the other just laughing.

"Nice Pot belly Ice Berg." Natsu says to Gray.

"I think you mean yours flame for brains." Gray insults Natsu right back.

"Hey Carla I got you something." I said to her walking slowly over to her. Pantherlily and Happy saw what was behind my back and decided to help me walk to Carla.

"I'm not in the mood for your and Happy's pranks today Cupid." Carla says to me.

"It's not a prank. Just a little gift to say sorry for this morning." I said to her as I pulled out from behind me a full gigantic bouquet of roses I guess you could call them human sized, from behind me.

"Cupid this is so thoughtful." Carla says to me taken back by my gift.

"It's nothing. Just wanted to show you how much I love you." I said to Carla as we licked each other she had trouble holding it as an exceed. But she transformed into a human and grabs the bouquet.

"Now for the gag." I said to her grabbing a spray bottle and spraying myself, Happy and Pantherlily.

Myself and Happy were laughing at Pantherlily until he growls in anger and tries to get me for it. Though I was already in Wendy's apartment. Nobody would suspect to find me here.

I started walking over to a walk in closet noticing it had Carla's clothes. I tried finding something for her to wear for our date today.

"Hmm. No. No. No. No. Maybe? No. No. No ah Perfect!" I said out loud holding up the hanger that held the clothes that is perfect.

I walked over to Carla's bed and placed the hanger with clothes on the bed. As I walked over to a sticky note pad I grabbed one and wrote a message on it.

"Let's see here. 'Hey Carla I found these clothes I want you to wear on our date today. Love Cupid' perfect." I said out loud taking the note off the pad and placing it on the clothes. I then was back in the guild hall hiding.

"Where are you!" Pantherlily shouts angrily.

I was currently hiding in the rafters. Good thing he's not using his wings. I noticed Carla's eyes dart up to me in worry before going back to talking to everyone else of team Natsu.

"Found you!" Pantherlily tackles me to the ground. We were fighting in mid air spinning and I landed on my back. As Pantherlily lands on me.

Carla walks over and pulls both of us apart.

"Are you both okay? Honestly you both should start acting a little more your age. We've already got a younger brother we don't need two more." Carla says to both of us.

"Sorry Carla." Myself and Pantherlily both say to Carla.

"She's right you know, we're both technically 40 years old in cat years. We should be acting more like grown-ups rather than fighting like children." I said to Pantherlily after Carla put both of us down.

"Yeah let's leave the playing to Happy." Pantherlily agrees with me as we shook on it.

Us three flew back to where we were before. Pantherlily flew back to where Gajeel was. While I sat down on Carla's human shoulder as she walks us back to the table with Team Natsu.

That's when we felt a Familiar presence we haven't felt in ten years.

"Huh interesting Gildarts is back. I'm amazed he's back so soon taking a millennium quest and all." I said to Carla.

We could see Natsu getting pumped up or as he puts it he's fired up to fight Gildarts again.

"Um Cupid why is Natsu looking excited?" Wendy asks me unsure of what's happening.

"Well Wendy. Gildarts is coming back home after a millennium quest. Took it ten years ago. Natsu's excited because he wants to fight Gildarts. But honestly if he can't defeat Erza or Laxus he can't defeat myself or Gildarts." I said to Wendy laying on the table as Carla got exhausted and transformed back into an exceed.

"So who's stronger?" Lucy asks me.

"Well I am when I'm at 100%; however, the way I am now he is." I said to Lucy holding on tight to Carla.

That's when his lazy butt just bursts through the wall as I hear a voice saying "Oh yeah."

"Welcome home Gildarts." Mira says to Gildarts whom looks confused.

"Eh Miss am I in Fairy Tail?" Gildarts says to Mirajane looking confused.

"It's me Mira." Mira says to Gildarts as his eyes pop out of his skull.

"There's no way. The Mira I know was a small little tyke." Gildarts says acting as if he wasn't gone for ten years.

"Old man FIGHT ME!" Natsu yells at Gildarts only to be tossed behind Gildarts like it was nothing.

This shocked the newest members of the guild.

"Heh just like the old days right Happy?" I asked the blue exceed who was currently on the table laughing at Natsu's swift defeat.

"Alright I guess I might as well greet him since everyone else is too scared to do it." I said to everyone at Team Natsu's table and flew in front of him.

"Hello again Gildarts." I said to him.

"Ah Cupid. What happened? Everyone's so much older than I remember." Gildarts says to me.

"You seem to forgotten you were gone for ten years on a millennial quest. Also there's some new members you just must meet." I said to Gildarts dragging him by his ear towards Gajeel and Pantherlily.

"This is Gajeel and his exceed partner Pantherlily. He's the Iron Dragon Slayer." I said to Gildarts as they shook hands. Thankfully Gajeel didn't explode not did Pantherlily.

I then pulled him over to Team Natsu's table.

"This is Wendy Marvell she's the Sky Dragon Slayer and that Lucy she's our own celestial wizard." I said to Gildarts.

"Who's the white exceed?" Gildarts asks me.

"Well that's Carla she's my girlfriend." I said to him looking away while blushing.

"Girlfriend? For how long?" Gildarts asks me.

"A year without anyone else realizing it." I said coughing into my paw. Gildarts is kind of like the overprotective father for the guild when Master's not around which is funny because he's not even a father to his own daughter Cana.

"Now where is Master I've got some things to discuss with him?" Gildarts asks me holding his mighty glare on me. Normally he wouldn't shake me to my core but this is my weakened state we're talking about here.

"Upstairs in his office." I said flying up there being followed by Gildarts.

We got in and before I could fly off Gildarts holds my newly acquired wings.

"I also have some stuff to talk about with you and the Master." Gildarts says to me dragging me into the office with him.

"No Gildarts please I'm still so young." I screamed out being dragged into the office with little to no effort.

My tail starts trying to pull me towards Carla's tail with no success.

"Come on you don't have to kill me Gildarts just because I have a girlfriend and didn't tell you." I begged Gildarts.

"Calm down I'm not going to kill you... Yet" Gildarts says to me.

"So how was your mission Gildarts?" Master asks Gildarts.

"I succeeded in record time." Gildarts says to Gramps. (This isn't the quest where he gets beat by Acnologia.)

"Now as for you Cupid. Master, when exactly did him and Carla happen and how?" Gildarts asks the two of us.

"From what I heard from Wendy and Happy. Cupid heroically protected them from S Class Monsters and Demons." Gramps stated stroking his beard.

"You must be losing your touch if new people are S class." Gildarts jokes around.

"Them going on that mission wasn't my decision. In fact it was Cupid's decision." Gramps says to Gildarts who's currently pinching my airway.

"Gildarts! Let him explain!" Gramps orders Gildarts as Gildarts places me on the table. I started coughing hard trying to catch my breath. I kept slapping my tail on the desk.

"Yes I did invite them on the mission but I wasn't going to be like Mira and have them fend for themselves. I swore my life to protect them on that mission and I did. I died on that mission but was brought back to life by both of them. Before I even was close to them I was trying to live my best life with Dan. Carla was kinda like how Happy was for her, but for me. So I would constantly get annoyed by her presence not realizing how she feels for me until five years into our friendship when we took that S class mission. I was gonna invite Dan to help me but he was busy with a date with Lucy. I was thinking of inviting Natsu and Gray but realized they'd both fight and only one is significantly weaker than both of them combined. I wasn't going to ask any of the other S Class wizards as Mystogan vanished after Edolas fell, Erza was busy with her cake, Laxus was a jerk and kicked out, Mira couldn't tap into her power as she was filled with regrets. You were on your own quest. I didn't feel like asking for Master to come along so I settled for strategy. My first strategy was Happy and Pantherlily but both went home for the day so I settled for the only other exceed I knew Carla. I convinced them that I'd protect them from anything or anyone that wanted to harm them so I did just that. I was healed by Wendy but was still brain dead until Carla begged me to fight. I should've been dead but I fought against all odds to see both of them smile. When I awoke it was only Carla by my bedside. She confessed to me and I thought what's the difference between a friend and a girlfriend so I accepted without thinking. Wasn't till she licked my cheek that it finally clicked. We've been dating in secret for a year after that. Then we revealed our relationship." I said to Gildarts grinning because I'm always happy to retell my history with Carla.

"But why go for your own race?" Gildarts asks me.

"That's simple I was born an exceed. I can match you the strongest wizard in fairy tail in this form when I'm in my prime. I have a human form that myself and Carla both share. The only issue with now is I'm severely weakened as my allergic reaction to fish happened during a fight against Happy for Carla." I said to Gildarts as he flicks my head.

"Why would you be so stupid? You know you can't eat fish." Gildarts says to me. I wasn't one to tell him, Gildarts and Master figured it out when I was only one year old. Master wrote it off as it not being appetizing to me but Gildarts knew better.

"Mira challenged me to fight Happy to prove that I love Carla and that we deserve to be shipped. Y'know how Mira is with her ships. She shipped Carla and Happy. When myself and Carla came out of the shadow as a couple. We were met with different perspectives. Mira hated it, Happy was in tears and I felt awful so I had to make it right. I gave them both alternatives. Since Mira couldn't fight me I gave her a chance to choose who she'd rather fight me in her place. She chose Happy. I thought it was finally a perfect opportunity to show just how far I'm willing to go for Carla in front of the entire guild. So I did just that I challenged Happy to a fishing and eating competition I won in the end. But at this cost I'm severely weakened, my legs might take weeks to months to get back to full strength, I can no longer hold my human form for more than a minute. All in all I'm now weaker than Happy when he was first born." I said to Gildarts as he slowly tears up knowing how wrong he was in choking me.

"Now if you'll excuse me. My tail wants to be reunited with Carla's. Good day Gildarts." I said to him as I finally took my paw off my tail and it zooms me through the guild hall as I slammed into Carla.

"Owie." We both said to each other.

"Are you two okay?" Wendy asks as we realized we were kissing snout to snout.

"Better than okay." Both of us said pulling apart blushing.

We sat down side by side hugging each other. This was actually our first official mouth to mouth kiss. Though in this case it's snout to snout kiss as we're both in our exceed form. We were both in a daze as well since it was our first kiss not only as a couple but as individuals.

"Hey little buddy. Do you want to go on a job?" Dan asks me.

"I'd rather not. Though that gives me an idea." I said out loud getting up and walking normally. Right, apparently the force of the collision caused my legs to regain their strength automatically. Now that my legs regained their strength the rest of my powers followed increasing their strength back into 100%. Except my flying since that was already at 100%.

I walked over to Happy and grab him I walked over to Pantherlily grabbing him as well. I put them on the table next to the request board.

"What are we doing?" Pantherlily and Happy asks me.

"We're going to be taking a job just us exceed." I said to the two curious exceed.

Yes we're all technically on different teams of wizards but I want to set up a team just for Exceeds.

"Why?" Pantherlily asks me.

"Well Edolas is gone so there's no more exceed coming to Earth land. We might as well work together to survive seeing as we're among the few exceed left. When I find the two Sabertooth exceed Frosch and Lector, I'll invite them on to this team as well." I said to them as we decided to form team Exceed.

I then grabbed a job and placed in front of everyone in our team.

"Catching sky fish. Here I thought Happy already did this one with you Cupid." Carla says to me.

"No he ate the fish before we could deliver it for the job." I said to the three exceed.

"Look it increased it's amount to 400,000 jewel just for one sky fish." Happy says pointing it out.

"Well that's convenient. 100,000 jewel for us just for one measley little sky fish. This time Happy try to keep your mouth shut so you don't eat it." I said to him as we all prowled over to Mira and place the job offer in front of her.

"I thought Happy already done this one." Mira says to us.

"Nope it says Retrieve not eat." I said to her as I walked off followed behind Carla, Pantherlily and Happy. We grew our wings and flew to the job site.

We touched down and walked in. We noticed Makarov's old friend that was in the Magic Council. Apparently he wants the sky fish so he can prepare a fantastic cuisine for his customers.

"So this job is it really 400,000 jewel for each sky fish or how many are we talking about here." I asked him as I was the leader of team Exceed so it's my job to make sure everyone's getting along with one another and find out the details of the jobs.

"As much as I would love to pay that amount for one sky fish. I unfortunately can't so I say just get me one basket full of sky fish and you can get paid." He says to me passing me the basket. I turned into a human and grabbed it on to my back.

"Well thanks again for entrusting us with this job." I said to him bowing before I left.

"So?" Carla asks me wondering what our job entails.

"Says he wishes he could pay 400,000 for each sky fish but can't. Though we're still taking this job." I said to them sprouting my wings and flying towards the gorge myself and Happy were at before. This is the first spot for rainbow sky fish. After a few seconds they landed down behind me.

"So how many do we need to catch?" Carla asks me.

"Probably 100 of them which isn't so bad." I said to her as we cast our fishing rods. 100 fishes later and the basket was now full to the brim with rainbow sky fish.

"Alright let's get our haul back and get that 400,000 jewel." I said to them grabbing it and putting it on my back and flying off back towards the way we came from. Carla, Pantherlily and Happy were all keeping up pretty well.

We then touched down in front of the shop and I was surprised he actually gave me four million instead. I walked out of the building with 4 envelopes in each one is one million for each of our members.

"So is this 100,000?" Pantherlily asks me.

"Nope." I said to them with a cheeky grin.

"What do you mean?" Happy asks.

"It's one million jewel." I said to them as they were shocked.

"One million jewel? Do you know how many fishies I can buy." Happy asks with a big smile.

"Sure do. Though I'd suggest you pay your rent first before you go buy your fishies, okay Happy?" I asked him with a smile. He nods and then walks away with the envelope in his mouth.

"I think we should do this again it was fun just like the old days where we used to party just the four of us." Pantherlily says to myself and Carla leaving.

Myself and Carla were left sitting there talking about what's to come next.
