"Lauren, Lauren wake up" chloe called out, tapping her gently, and suddenly the sleeping Lauren woke with a start, panting hard..
Looking frantically around the room, she calmed a little as soon as she saw the familiar environment.
"Hey, hey, are you ok?" Chloe asked moving her curls behind her ears
"Huh?" Lauren asked before gathering chloe into a big hug..
"Thank God It was all a dream" she whispered softly as she relaxed a bit.
"I had the craziest dream ever, you will never believe me if I told you" Lauren said disengaging from the embrace.
"Try me " chloe said making her self comfortable on the side of the bed.
Lauren began Narrating her dreams, starting from the moment she saw herself in an Amazon like forest to when she saw the most beautiful man she had ever seen who had a golden eyes..
Chloe tried to keep up with the story but ultimately gave up.
"Like I said, I know you wouldn't believe me" Lauren said getting up from the bed.
"I never said I didnt, and besides it's only a dream" chloe said following Lauren as she went to the bathroom.
"Doesnt matter anyways, I have a tight schedule today, need to be at Chastain by eight to perform a Coronary bypass surgery with Professor Turner" Lauren said while brushing her teeth.
"I thought your dad was retired?" Chloe asked after spitting out the paste In her mouth.
" came out of retirement only because the patient is his very good friend" lauren said before leaving the bathroom.
Both ladies went downstairs to have breakfast as the table was already laid out by the chef.
"Let's go to the club tonight" Chloe suggested after finishing up her break fast.
"I still have to go to the NDI (National Division of Investigastion) we have a very important task" she too finished up on her meal...
" Does it have anything to do with the missing children?"
"I love you koko but its classified, I will meet you in the evening at your company when i'm done at the division" lauren said before running up to her room to prepare for the day.

"THE Professor Lauren will be heading the surgery today" a resident doctor at Chastain asked a nurse as soon as the news began to make round.
"Yes, the patient today is a high profile figure, Senator Francis, so he requested the best of the best in the business, also her father is also among the team of surgeons ".
"How I wish I can simply be inside the room with them while they perform the surgery, but anyways I can always watch with my fellow residents since it will be televised for the doctors" another resident said.
"I also heard Proffessor Lauren is also a special agent at National Division of Investigation, how exactly is she even able to do that?"an intern asked.
"I heard she finished her Doctorate at Twenty and became the youngest doctor in the country to perform a Coronary bypass surgery flawlessly, spent two years at the hospital performing impossible surgeries before having a career change two years ago...." the nurse narrated
"Oh she was so good, that she was nicknamed hand of God, such an icon" another said with dreamy eyes.
"Is everybody in the hospital suddenly healthy that three health professionals found it a good time to gossip" the Head nurse bellowed while the four resident scurried away...
"Humph, that's what I thought" he said and continued his ward rounds.
Meanwhile....
Lauren drove into the hospital in her maybach, dressed in a Navy blue Jean, white tank top with a brown leather jacket. No one would have guessed she was a doctor..
Walking into the reception area she smiled as soon as the smell of anticeptics assaulted her nose, making her way into the general ward, she saw a man having a heated argument with a nurse.
"How is my son goddamit, I am asking you a question" the man bellowed.
"You need to calm down sir, your son is being operated on" the nurse said as she tried attending to other patients..
"Hey I'm talking to you" the man shouted as he shoved the nurse hard on the hand.
"Someone call the security"..
The man tried again to assault her, but his right hand that was raised was twisted behind him and he forced to his knees, as he tried to fight with his other hand, it was twisted equally and this time he was pinned face down on the ground..
"My hand, my hand let go of my hand " the man winced in pain.
"Who the fuck are you?" The man cursed..
"Special agent Lauren Turner, now apologise to the nurse you just assulted" Lauren commanded...
"Am so sorry, am so sorry please let me go this once " the man cried in pain.
"Good boy" Lauren said before letting go of his hands...The security team were already at the general ward before Lauren released the man.
Every one inside the general ward gave a loud applause to Lauren for how she swiftly dissolved the issue.
" Lauren, long time no see" twenty seven year old Jack, Chief Medical Director of Chastain called out as soon as he saw Lauren.
"Dr Jack, how are doing?" The two shared a hugged before making their way to the elevator....it been such a long time since they last saw each other.
"Oh, the office of the CMD looks good on you" lauren commented.
"All thanks to your dad" he was really happy to see her.
"Let's go, everyone is waiting" he said as he led her to the elevator.
"This way" he said as they made their way out of the elevator and into the VIP ward where the senator was admitted.
"Professor Lauren welcome" one of the senior surgeons said as soon as she walked in.
"Professor Margaret!!!!" Lauren was suprised to see her one of idols in the medical field. she made her way to the elderly woman and engulfed her in a hug.
"Oh child how have you been" she asked Lauren..
"I have been good, I thought you had retired?".
"Oh i'm only here on a consultancy capacity" professor Margaret said.
"Dad, how have you been" she hugged her dad.
"You look good kiddo" he said, looking her up and down.
Lauren went ahead to great every of the veteran surgeons in the room, before going to change in the office reserved for her when ever she was in the hospital.
There were prepped about the surgery and Thirty minutes later they went inside the theater...,it would be a six hours surgery.
In about five hours, forty five minutes later, the surgery was done and was a success..
She didnt wait around to be congratulated but rushed back to her office, changed into her clothes and made her way to the elevator, the briefing at the division would be starting in the next Thirty minutes..

Walking back and forth in front of Damien's room, Damon, wondered why and what made Damien lie unconscious the whole day, and that deep wound on his neck, how did it got there?..he had so many questions but no one to answer him.
"Derek, how is he" Damon asked as soon as derek came out of Damien's room..
"I dont know how to say this" Derek paused as he tried to make sense of what he saw, propellingbhis glasses back, he stared at the tense Damon "that deep cut was caused by a lycans claw"
"What, how is that even possible when he has been in this room since morning, that doesnt make sense" Damon queried.
"Exactly but the good news is that the injury is healing fast on it's own, something that is a miracle as we know how deadly and lethal the claw of a lycan is, he will soon be up and then we can know exactly what happened".
They were still talking when the nurse came out and informed them that the patient was awake.
Derek compelled the nurse to forget everything she just saw and witnessed before letting her go.
Rushing into the room, Damien was already up and closing his buttons.
"How are you feeling?" Derek asked inspecting his neck and wasn't suprised that he was all healed up.
"What happened, how did you end up getting that nasty deep cut on your neck" Damon asked..
"I need a drink, maybe then I'll tell you two the crazy stuff that happened this morning" Damien said as they left for Lux, one of his clubs.
Twenty minutes into their arrival at lux, the three men were barely seated in a VIP area at the club when , two extremely beautiful ladies walked in. The men in the club observed them immediately as they walked in, as though fated, one of the lady's turned and her eyes met Damien's.
"That's her, That's the lady in my dream"
