-------------------------------------------------------------
Within the borders of the Land of Earth, the desolate landscape stretched under the azure sky. A gust of wind swept across the barren land, carrying tiny pebbles that clattered against the eroded rock pillars, producing a "crackling" sound.
On this lifeless terrain, where not a single blade of grass grew, only the countless rocks and mountains worn down by the wind provided any form of color.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
At that moment, distinct footsteps echoed across the desolate land. Four figures gradually emerged, walking with upright postures and a calm demeanor. These figures were Aizen and his group, who had killed the Kazekage just days before.
Sasori had completely left Sunagakure, choosing to follow Aizen despite having the option to remain hidden with the Third Kazekage's corpse.
"Lord Aizen, are you sure about cooperating with Tsuchikage?"
Saki, positioned behind Aizen, asked softly, his expression puzzled.
After establishing Hueco Mundo, Aizen had turned it into a temporary mercenary organization. The payment for their missions wasn't money; with Yuko's support, Aizen lacked no wealth. Instead, they collected rare and valuable items such as ancient scrolls, secret information, and spiritual artifacts.
Thanks to Kakuzu and Saki's extensive underground connections, they formed a network that took on challenging bounty missions when no one else could.
Hueco Mundo's reputation grew in these dark circles, attracting the attention of Third Tsuchikage, who sought their collaboration. Even Konohagakure might have known about Aizen's involvement, as he never intended to hide it.
Hearing Saki's question, Aizen smiled slightly and said softly:
"There's no harm in collaborating with the Tsuchikage. After all, the outcome remains the same. Utilizing the Tsuchikage's hand to initiate this conflict will make our plans smoother."
Saki, pondering Aizen's answer, then respectfully asked:
"But Lord Aizen, you previously fought Onoki and obtained his Dust Release technique. If he exposes Hueco Mundo, won't it reveal your identity?"
Aizen waved his hand lightly, eyes sparkling as he chuckled:
"I'm glad you're considering this from Hueco Mundo's perspective, Saki. But you're mistaken."
Saki looked puzzled, waiting for Aizen's explanation.
"Hueco Mundo doesn't need to hide from anyone, even if fully exposed to the ninja world. My presence behind the scenes is merely to avoid prematurely alerting our targets."
His eyes gleamed with a smile as he continued:
"Otherwise, if certain ancient beings, hidden for centuries, decide to vanish again due to fear, I won't waste my time chasing them."
Saki's eyes widened slightly as he murmured:
"Besides Madara, you mean..."
Aizen glanced at him, smirking:
"Naturally. The ninja era isn't the only root of decay. Some ancient beings surviving through borrowed power isn't surprising."
His gaze turned cold as he added:
"But this ninja era will end, and those clinging to life through spiritual power will find no place to hide. In my era, I will tolerate no filth. Any challenge to my authority will result in their souls being banished to the appropriate place."
Saki nodded deeply, understanding Aizen's determination, while Ulquiorra remained calm, and Sasori's young eyes were fixated on Aizen, filled with admiration.
Sasori, who meticulously crafted his puppets to perfection, was struck by Aizen's meticulous planning and vast knowledge. From cultures to ninjutsu styles and even puppetry, Aizen could engage deeply in any topic, which profoundly impressed Sasori.
Aizen's plans were precise, each step interlinked, making every decision part of a grand design. Sasori realized that any opposition to Aizen was futile, as his plans had already anticipated every move.
Admiring Aizen's unwavering belief in his invincibility, Sasori followed him closely, acknowledging the immense personal charm that made Aizen a true leader.
Seeing Saki's expression, Aizen smiled, turning his gaze to the vast horizon.
"Let's go. Our meeting with the Tsuchikage will be peaceful. No need for excessive caution. By the time we arrive, Yuko should be nearly ready. Let's look forward to what's next."
With a smile, Aizen led the way, followed closely by Ulquiorra, Sasori, and Saki, all feeling a sense of awe as they followed him. Under the sunlight, Aizen's figure appeared like a towering giant leading the way.
