"Whoosh!"
Minato formed a seal with his hands. After using the Body Flicker Technique to move to another location, he swiftly drew a kunai and hurled it forward!
"Swish!"
The sharp kunai sliced through the air, pinning a leisurely flying bird to a tree trunk in an instant. The bird, stunned by the sudden attack, was unharmed—the kunai had only pierced its wing feathers. Realizing it was safe, the bird quickly flapped its wings, shedding feathers as it flew away in terror to the depths of the forest.
Seeing this, a bright smile appeared on Minato's young face. He turned and called out to Jiraiya from a distance.
"Jiraiya-sensei, I didn't feel any delay in my actions after using the Body Flicker Technique."
Jiraiya's expression grew serious as he approached Minato. Looking at him intently, Jiraiya said, "Minato, it seems you have an incredible talent in this area."
He stroked his chin thoughtfully, murmuring, "It looks like you might be able to master the Flying Thunder God Technique left by the Second Hokage."
Jiraiya's voice was so soft that Minato didn't catch it. He looked up at Jiraiya with a puzzled expression.
"What is it, Jiraiya-sensei?"
Jiraiya smiled and said, "Nothing, Minato. Since you have such great talent, focus on mastering the Body Flicker Technique. It will help you grow into a powerful ninja."
Minato's young face grew determined as he nodded seriously. "I will, Jiraiya-sensei!"
Maybe this would bring him a step closer to that person, Minato thought to himself.
Meanwhile, as Jiraiya was teaching Minato ninjutsu, a beautiful woman arrived in a forest near Konoha.
She wore Konoha ninja attire, her long black hair tied back, revealing a fair face and neck. Her chin was slightly pointed, her skin pale and delicate, showing the remnants of her baby fat. An air of melancholy in her expression made her look especially pitiable.
Upon reaching the forest, she found a spot to sit, leaning back on a stone slab, as if to bask in the warm sunlight. After a while, feeling the sunlight too glaring, she raised a slender hand to shield her eyes, peeking through her fingers at the sky. Her dark eyes, full of sadness, seemed to hide a sorrowful story, drawing anyone to want to understand her inner world.
"So many years have passed... so much has changed," she whispered softly, her voice tender and sweet, contrasting with her mature figure.
As her voice faded, loud tremors began to resonate from afar, as if an earthquake was shaking the forest. Birds and beasts fled in panic, and the sound of trees crashing down echoed through the woods.
Sensing the tremors, the woman's eyes widened in surprise, not with fear but with deep joy. She turned sharply towards the forest, her small hands clenched tightly, her eyes filled with anticipation.
"Little Bear... is that you?" she murmured to herself.
As if in response, a massive hand suddenly emerged from the forest like a small mountain.
"Crash! Crash! Crash!"
The huge hand swung out, effortlessly toppling thick trees like fragile grass. Then, a gigantic figure emerged from the forest, revealing its full form in the sunlight. It stood like a mountain, dwarfing even the tallest trees that barely reached its chest.
"Crash! Crash!"
With every thunderous step, the ground trembled. The creature's thick black fur shimmered like steel in the sunlight, and its huge feet left deep prints with each step. Its chest bore a striking patch of white fur with red markings, resembling a bell, which contrasted with its fearsome appearance.
Seeing the giant creature, the woman covered her mouth, tears glistening in her eyes as she exclaimed, "It's really you, Little Bear!"
The giant bear's black nose twitched as it looked at her with its wide, beastly eyes. Then, like an excited puppy, it charged towards her. Its massive movements caused the ground to quake, making it hard for the woman to stay on her feet.
As the bear drew closer, she raised a hand and shouted urgently, "Little Bear, stop!"
Hearing her, the bear halted, staring at her with its big, bewildered eyes as if asking, "Aren't we playing our game?"
Understanding its look, the woman smiled and said gently, "You're too big now. If I tried to catch you, you might crush me."
The bear's face showed disappointment, its ears drooping. It shuffled over to her, its previous enthusiasm gone, and sat down beside her, a mountain of fur and muscle.
Smiling at its dejected look, the woman gently petted the bear's now iron-like fur, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions. "I missed you so much, Little Bear," she whispered.
She leaned into the bear, burying her face in its fur, tears streaming down her cheeks. The bear looked down at her, its yellow eyes filled with confusion.
