In the Land of Fire, the warm sunlight bathed the earth, and the lush vegetation thrived under its rays. At a waterfall, sparkling silver droplets shimmered in the brilliant sunlight. At the top of the waterfall, two figures, one large and one small, stood on a rock in the river. The smaller figure had his eyes closed, as if he was quietly sensing something. Beside him, the larger figure looked on with a pleased expression.

Suddenly, the smaller figure, with blond hair, opened his eyes, which were calm and blue. His face remained serene as his hands swiftly formed seals, his fingers moving rapidly.

"Swish! Swish! Swish!" In an instant, the seals were completed.

"Swish!" The next moment, his body moved from the rock in the middle of the river to the flat ground on the riverbank.

Feeling the solid ground beneath his feet, the boy's face lit up with a bright smile. He waved to the white-haired figure still standing in the same spot and shouted, "I did it, Jiraiya-sensei! I can use the Body Flicker Technique now!"

Jiraiya, who had been smiling from afar, grinned broadly at Minato's words. He brought his fingers together lightly.

"Swish!" In the blink of an eye, Jiraiya appeared beside the boy.

The blond boy looked up at him, his face beaming with warmth and happiness, his blue eyes wide with excitement. "Jiraiya-sensei, I finally succeeded! This is the first time I've mastered such an advanced ninjutsu. I'm thinking of giving this technique a name."

Minato lowered his head, touching his chin thoughtfully, his blue eyes moving as he pondered. After a moment, he clapped his hands and exclaimed, "I've got it! How about 'Shining Zero'?"

He looked quite pleased with himself, proud of the name he had come up with. Jiraiya, seeing his excitement, gave a wry smile and ruffled Minato's hair, laughing. "Minato, don't always come up with such strange names."

Minato was taken aback. "Jiraiya-sensei, do you think the name isn't good enough?"

Jiraiya rolled his eyes and, seeing Minato's puzzled expression as he considered changing the name, said, "For your first time using the Body Flicker Technique, you've done very well, Minato!"

Hearing Jiraiya's praise, Minato's face lit up with joy. Jiraiya, meanwhile, stroked his chin and murmured, "Moreover, it seems you didn't experience any momentary lag after using the technique."

Minato looked puzzled. "Jiraiya-sensei, what's momentary lag?"

With a serious expression, Jiraiya explained, "Ninjas have created many techniques to achieve high speeds through chakra bursts, and the Body Flicker Technique is just one of them. The Second Hokage created the Flying Thunder God Technique, which allows true instantaneous movement."

Jiraiya paused, recalling a familiar figure, then shook his head and continued explaining to Minato, who was listening attentively. "Aside from spatial ninjutsu like the Flying Thunder God, many ninjas can achieve short-range teleports. But do you know why these techniques aren't used frequently in battles?"

Minato thought for a moment and replied softly, "Is it because of chakra consumption? Using the Body Flicker Technique once takes about a fifth of my current chakra."

Jiraiya smiled and ruffled Minato's hair again. "Wrong answer, Minato!"

Minato smiled wryly, thinking, "No other teacher would be this happy about their student answering incorrectly."

Jiraiya raised a finger and said softly, "The reason is momentary lag! Ninjas are still human and must follow biological mechanisms. Our dynamic vision is limited. Even with training, a human can't match an eagle's ability to spot moving prey while diving at high speed."

"Ninjas improve their physical abilities through chakra training, enhancing their dynamic vision. But this improvement has limits. The innate conditions of our eyes set a maximum level of improvement."

"And this visual limitation is just one aspect of the momentary lag. When a ninja uses the Body Flicker Technique, blood rushes to the heart and brain, causing slight delays in transmitting information to the body. This creates a brief moment of discomfort."

"These tiny delays, combined with insufficient dynamic vision, cause a slight lag after a ninja uses the Body Flicker Technique. For skilled fighters, even a fraction of a second can decide the outcome of a battle."

Listening to Jiraiya, Minato nodded thoughtfully. Jiraiya, seeing Minato's serious expression, felt relieved, thinking, "Good thing I heard Tsunade explain this before, or I would have been embarrassed in front of Minato!"

Minato, meanwhile, seemed to have thought of something. He hesitated before turning to Jiraiya and said, "But, Jiraiya-sensei, I didn't feel any lag after using the technique."

Jiraiya grinned and said, "It's okay, Minato. You did great. Your movements were smooth, almost as good as mine. Wait, what did you say?!"

Realizing what Minato had said, Jiraiya stared at him in surprise. Minato repeated his statement, and Jiraiya touched his chin thoughtfully, saying, "Try it again, Minato. I'll watch closely this time."

Minato formed the seals and used the Body Flicker Technique again. Just like the first time, his movement was smooth and seamless, with no hint of lag. Jiraiya watched in amazement and murmured, "Minato's talent for spatial techniques is incredible."
