--------------------------------------------------------------

At the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Earth,

A desolate land stands in stark contrast to the lush forest, devoid of any signs of human presence.

*Swish!* *Swish!*...

However, at this moment, dozens of figures have arrived in this desolate place!

They stand scattered on the tree trunks within the forest, observing the barren land on the opposite side from a distance.

Hidden beneath the lush leaves of a tall tree,

"Sosuke... cough... What's your perspective on the current situation?"

An older ninja with a somewhat pale complexion turns his head slightly to look at the tall and slim young man behind him, speaking softly.

Watching this young and handsome ninja, the older one can't help but feel some emotions.

The youth from three years ago...

Now... has he really grown to this extent?

Upon hearing the question, Sosuke smiles gently, and his eyes, full of vitality, scan the barren land on the opposite side. His voice is magnetic and soft as he responds.

"It seems that the enemy isn't focusing their ninja deployment at the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Earth. Considering Iwagakure's military strength, this situation is quite unusual."

"Based on years of intelligence observations, it appears that Iwagakure's main ninja forces are still concentrated in the battlefield within the Land of Rain."

He pauses for a moment, and a glint of insight flashes through his eyes as he continues softly.

"So, it's very likely that the enemy is trying to communicate an unspoken agreement to Konoha... that the primary battlefield is not here."

"The ideal battlefield for them is in the Land of Rain."

"Of course, all of this is just my speculation. I will follow your orders, Captain Shingo."

Sosuke smiles gently, displaying humility on his face.

Hearing his words, Captain Shingo's expression remains unchanged. He turns his head slightly and speaks with admiration in his tone.

"Your analysis is quite accurate, Sosuke."

"Before we arrived here, the Third Hokage provided me with a confidential letter, which included some information about Iwagakure's movements. Various pieces of intelligence indicate that Iwagakure's primary ninja forces are indeed deployed in the Land of Rain."

At this point, Captain Shingo doesn't continue but rather reflects silently.

Impressive analytical skills...

Is he the "Child of Konoha" after all...

Perhaps this child will truly grow into the great tree of Konoha...

Meanwhile, when Sosuke and the others arrived at the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Earth...

At the same time, within the Land of Rain's borders,

The continuous days of overcast skies and rain have finally come to a halt.

Inside the hidden cave where Konan and the others have taken shelter,

Yahiko is trying to get up, preparing to step outside to continue his training for the day.

Having been drenched by the heavy rain for several days, his young body appears weak and frail, struggling to regain strength.

"Yahiko, please... don't go out anymore. Your body..."

Konan watches Yahiko, who is bravely heading outside despite his condition, and her large eyes are filled with concern.

The elderly woman also gazes at the determined young man with a complex expression, but she doesn't speak. Instead, she gently strokes the young girl's hair with her rough, withered hand.

With a faint smile on his pale face, Yahiko gives a reassuring response to Konan and says with a child's innocence.

"Don't worry, Konan. These difficulties are nothing for me."

"I can still keep going!"

After that, he turns around and shakily continues his path outside.

Yes... no matter what... I must persist...

I've already lost my mother... but I don't want to lose Konan and the elderly lady in the future...

Only by gaining the power of a shinobi can I protect them!

With these thoughts in mind,

His young face displayed an unwavering determination!

Outside the cave, Saki remained leaning against a large tree, just as before, waiting patiently.

He silently watched Yahiko's training in the field, not uttering a word. Occasionally, the subtle movements in his pale eyes revealed that he had been paying close attention.

Suddenly!

His expression changed slightly, and he calmly said, "I'll be gone for a moment. Rest here."

With that, he vanished from beside the large tree with a swift movement, leaving Yahiko looking puzzled.

In the nearby forest,

Saki stood expressionless, gazing coldly in a particular direction. He spoke calmly, "Come out. You should know that your concealment means nothing in my eyes."

His words had just trailed off when a sound like water flowing could be heard.

In front of him, not far away, a transparent figure slowly formed from liquid!

"It seems you're fortunate to have such keen eyes. It appears we haven't crossed paths before, Saki."

"This is indeed regrettable."

The liquid gradually solidified into Jinnai's figure. He squinted his narrow eyes and, with a pale smirk on his lips, looked at Saki with a hint of mockery.

However, Saki remained expressionless.

Seeing Saki's demeanor, Jinnai sneered, "Well, you're quite dull. If it were that guy, he might not have been able to resist attacking already. You're far too composed."

Hearing this, Saki calmly replied, "I'll only do what Captain Aizen wishes. Anything unrelated is meaningless."

Jinnai then gave an amused chuckle, saying, "Is teaching that kid also Captain Aizen's order? That would disappoint me."

Upon hearing this, Saki's pale eyes turned slightly colder, and his voice grew colder as well.

"Remember your attitude toward Captain Aizen, Jinnai!"

"I see potential in that child, a desire to change this world. He might become an asset to Captain Aizen in the future. I'm simply helping in passing."

"Explanation complete. Now, let's hear about the information you've brought."

Jinnai shrugged nonchalantly and said softly, "No need to explain so much to me; you're just too serious, Saki."

With that, he retrieved a scroll from his person and casually tossed it to Saki.

"Here, it seems there are no tailed beasts in the Village Hidden in the Rain, but I happened to come across some information. It appears that in the neighboring village, the Village Hidden in the Haze, there's a hidden creature."

"I can't confirm if it's a tailed beast, but very few people know about it. I thought you might want to take a look."

Taking the scroll, Saki nodded calmly and said, "I'll stay here for a while and then head to the Village Hidden in the Haze."

"Perhaps it's best to put your revenge plan on hold for now. Captain Aizen needs you to maintain a position in the Village Hidden in the Rain. If possible, gather information on Kakuzu."

Hearing this, Nagato scratched his head in annoyance and said, "Do I have to let that guy live a little longer!? It's troublesome. But, it's Captain Aizen's orders after all; I'll follow them."

"But that Kaito guy... He's quite mysterious."

"He's a cautious one. If it weren't for meeting Captain Aizen and witnessing that miracle, I might have held a different attitude toward Kaito."

To this, Saki remained silent.

"Alright, enough of this. Time to leave. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of world Captain Aizen will create."

"I have great expectations for it!"

Jinnai turned slowly, waving his hand nonchalantly as he spoke with a playful tone. His body gradually disappeared into the air.
