Since the spear was already ripping Damon`s right shoulder quite painfully.
It went in not smoothly at all.

And only stopping on the bone.
Painful indeed.
-Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarhgh – Damon shouted out in pain.
The goblin guard pulled out the spear the same way it came in.
Again, not a nice feeling.
The other one was about to do the same thing.
Immobilizing the human ability to fight back.
Luckily, this time Aries wasn`t just an imagination of a hero.
Unluckily for goblins he struck down the goblin`s head and split it in two.
-Damon, GET UP – he shouted quickly – we need to get out NOW –
Drums in the distance stopped.

One goblin guard dead, other one trying to stay alive.

Damon couldn`t use his right arm.
left hand although was still usable.
And so, he grabbed the second wooden spear from the half-headed guard.
Pushed away the ground.
Got the grip, set his position.
When Aries was blocking the monsters attacks.
Damon pushed it straight into its jaw
Piercing the bottom of its skull.
Mushing the brain inside
And coming out in its eye.
Blood covered both man faces.
Guards were dead.

They said the exact same thing when the village "gate" opened and goblins saw the dead fellows.
But the guys were gone from vision.
Slowly returning to safety
Carrying 1 and a half of a gobbling head.
Damon had to rest a few times.
Injury wasn't fatal.
But it hurt like hell.
Wood ripped somethings definitely inside

Walking, he had to hold it non stop not to loose blood.
Whenever Damon tried to rest a while and just close his eyes for a second.

Back of his head got slapped a few times to wake him up again.
-Don't you dare. I`m not carrying you back. – Aries tried to lighten up his mood a little.
-Shut up man. – he replied, with a better humor indeed.
Fist bumped each other, laughed a bit.
And after a while of finding their way back, few miss turns from Aries again,
