"Yoshiyuki!" I call from across the bar.
"Yes?" He answers as I rush up to him.
"Teach me how to fight."
Yoshiyuki is sitting at the bar owned by LA Division 3 of Hallyu with some of the elites from other divisions.
"Isn't hand to hand combat why you're one of the elites?"
"Yes, but Nakamura said she would only teach me how to shoot a gun if I refine and polish the weapons already in my arsenal. So she told me to learn from you."
"Me?"
"Yea. You are the only senpai* I have to learn hand to hand combat from."
"Do you see the people I am sitting with right now?"
"Oh, yes?"
"They specialize in hand to hand just like us."
"Really? That's so cool!" I bow to greet them.
"But Yoshiyuki, you know alllll sorts of martial arts!" I say drawing out the word "all."
"That's true."
"I only know a few... " I frown.
"Nakamura sent you to me?" he asks after thinking for a minute.
"Yes! She said to learn from you since you belong to the Division 1 elites."
Yoshiyuki sighs.
"All right. I'll train you. But you have to work hard, okay?"
"Okay!" I cheer happily.
Yoshiyuki ended up teaching me every form of martial arts he knew. This task took about 4 years, but I was a diligent student and progressed rapidly.
