As the time for their upcoming mission drew nearer, Colneth, who had just recently become pregnant, wasn't overly worried. This was because, during her previous pregnancy with Coliesh, except for the last mission, which had been a bit challenging towards the end, there hadn't been any major issues.
However, Colneth's lack of worry didn't mean that Dalgliesh shared the same sentiment. Inside, he yearned to keep Colneth locked within his sight, never allowing him to go anywhere else. Yet, he understood that besides being his beloved, Colneth was also the captain of the entire special police force, burdened with significant responsibilities and duties.
