Since Sun Joon Ho's earliest memories, Sun Joon Ho's father loved to impart wisdom to him. When he was young and had limited understanding, Sun Joon Ho's father would use his teaching skills to break down profound concepts into something Sun Joon Ho could comprehend.
For example, when they went to Namsan Mountain in the city during his elementary school days, a time when there was no admission fee. When climbing a long, winding mountain path, he got too tired to continue. Sun Joon Ho's father said, "In life, you'll often have to walk difficult paths. If you keep staring at the path, you'll find it seems to get longer, and you'll never reach the end. It's better to lift your head and look at other things, like the blue sky, white clouds, or small butterflies. When you distract yourself, the toughest times will pass more easily."
