Ina didn't say anything. She just looked at Kier absently, registering what he'd just told her. Nothing came to her. She wanted to say sorry, but it felt stupid.
Kier belted the sword around his waist and walked past Ina towards the exit of the cavern.
"I'll go for the supplies," he said. "I'll take you to your cabin when I come back if you tell me to."
Medes flew after Kier leaving Ina, Mint, and Irel in the dark shelter the cave provided from the rain.
