"Haaah" It was with a sharp gasp that Ina returned to reality. She clutched Kier's hand, hard. He didn't complain, but she only realized she was doing it when she saw the slightly blue tips of his fingers.
"I'm sorry." She released Kier's hand.
"Don't be," he said. "I might need you to rein me in right now, and the last thing you need is sympathy for me."
