"I'm not a Witch." Ina regretted blurting that out immediately.
But Kier said nothing. He simply stood in front of Ina, completely silent. Peppermint came back with something in her mouth. Kier squatted to take it from her.
"You do mind," said Kier standing up again. "And I'm willing to call you a Druid, Ina. I want to call you a Druid. I would love to see that story, the reappearance of Druids. By Kyn's grace, I swear I'll even help you." In his index and thumb fingers, Kier held up the glass flower he had created, after the Shadow ordeal, by the stem. "All I ask is that you trust I know what I'm doing. If Mint could, I expect it'll be all the easier for you."
Ina looked at the flower. "She trusts you because you saved her life while you were away." A pang of guilt seized her chest as she remembered she hadn't even thanked the Mage for that.
Kier took Ina's hand to give her the flower. He shrugged. "Jump off a cliff."
