"I'm not going Kier," Ina said over the conversation going on about her. "And it's not something to take lightly. Stop joking about it."
Kier whispered something to Peppermint's ear, cupping his hand over his mouth, making a show of keeping something from Ina.
"Yes," said the fox.
"Would you please get it?" asked the the Mage.
Peppermint hurried over to Ina's room, her claws scraping playfully on the wooden floor. Kier stood, looked studiously at Ina, and walked towards her.
"What?" Ina moved to block the entrance door to her cabin, fearing Kier would simply walk away.
"Oh, that's insult to injury," said Kier. He kept approaching Ina. "Frankly, I'm hurt, Witch."
