"Of course it is," said Ina. She decided to stick to her original plan and be completely honest and blunt. "What would you do if an incredibly powerful, yet socially awkward Mage came in the middle of the night threatening to burn your house?"
Kier raised his eyebrows as a playful smile stretched his lips. "I would definitely never do something as demented as invite him in for dinner."
"And you would know demented."
Kier kept smiling but leaned his head a bit to the side and looked down. Ina knew she'd touched a nerve. Yet Kier kept calm. Blunt and honest was apparently the way to deal with him.
"You made Medes cry, you inconsiderate goof," said Ina. "He's going to put you through Rin's nightmares for who knows how long."
