Chapter 3 - Mirai's Family Part 1

In a village that is quite far from the reach of the city of Kumamoto, Japan, you can see lots of lush trees with lots of flying seagulls. And seen a lot of birds that perch from one tree to another.

From a distance… the sound of river water flowing from the end of the village was heard. The closer you look, the figure of a beautiful woman sitting under a tree in the early morning.

As the wind ruffled her long hair, she smiled.

"Today I feel, I will meet good people"

She got up from his seat, took a deep breath and released it slowly, then you could see it on her face, a very sweet smile like honey.

She stretches his body to get ready to start activities in her house. Inside the house she makes breakfast for his brother and mother who have had leg pain since she was 5 years ago.

All household needs are taken care of by him and her grandmother. While his father had died long before she was born.

Luckily…, there is a grandmother who really loves them all. Grandma is the backbone of the family. Therefore, helping the grandmother with the temple and housework is all that she can help.

After she finished serving the food, she told his mother and little brother to eat first, while she would go to the temple to deliver food to her grandmother as usual.

She felt quite anxious and went to the temple where her grandmother was, after saying goodbye to her mother and brother, she left. This wasn't something that rarely happened, because the grandmother was used to this, but even though this was normal for them, they were still worried, because that was what family meant.

Along the way, the surrounding atmosphere is quite beautiful, the many maple trees around there feel very pleasing to the eye. Their red color is pleasing to the eye, but not for trees, because it is the separation between the old and new leaves. On that tree, there is a small bird family. The mother is seen feeding her child. One by one he feeds, for his son, not for him. In fact, he had to go again to look for himself.

The bird's mother flies far into the sky…

From a distance, a woman was seen running small while carrying provisions. Dressed in a red and white miko outfit, she headed towards the shrine on the hill.

At the same time, above the shrine…

There was a person walking up to the top of the shrine from another path…

Then he looked back, and saw the sight of the village visible from afar. He thought, it's beautiful.

He stepped back, step by step, without knowing what his purpose was going. Furthermore, he doesn't remember anything, who is he? Name? Even his family. But… his heart kept telling him to keep moving forward.

"He forgets, but not his heart"

In his suit, he kept walking, all that remained of him was a glimmer of hope in the darkness of his heart and a necklace he was wearing that he had even forgotten.

When he enter the temple area, he saw many temples. But there is one temple that caught his attention, namely the top shrine. Just as he was about to step there, he heard the sound of a beast. His voice sounded painful, but the problem was that the source of the sound was from the dark trees and thickets of thickets.

His heart felt very restless, what did he forget? Then heard the sound again…

He was shocked, his pupils dilated, then without thinking he ran towards the sound.

Without thinking whether it is dangerous or not. Is it something that can kill him, or is it something important that he forgot.

He kept running, without thinking about himself, the sharp thorns even made his hands hurt. He slipped, and fell to the ground quite hard, his nose was bleeding, his left hand was sprained. From the fall, he tried to get up with potluck while enduring the pain. He didn't know why he was like this, but with that wound he walked again. With a limp, he continued to the source of the sound…

Then it stopped…

He saw a fairly small temple, and in the middle of the temple there was a white fox.

He had a tear coming out of his right eye…

Somehow he felt grateful and relieved.

He approached the fox, seen that the fox was in pain in its left leg. He embraced the fox, and without resistance, the fox looked at him. It looked like the fox was happy, seeing that made him curious. "She's hurt… but why? And I… why are you sad and… also relieved?" he said.

At the same time he heard someone's voice very far away, he thought, he wanted to ask for help from that person and also the rain started to drizzle. He stood up, and returned to where he had come before.

Step by Step with the rain getting heavier, finally back to where it started before entering the forest. On the path of the temple, he descended his way.

Hoping that someone can turn to for help…

Not long after he walked down from the temple, he met someone. More precisely, two people who are sheltering. An old grandmother and a young woman who has beautiful eyes.

From a distance the grandmother called him, luckily he understood but didn't know what to answer. He walked towards them.

In his heart, he was very grateful

Finally, someone he could turn to for help.

On his way… which, he was pretending to be strong.

He smiled a little,

And…

He thought, "thank goodness, this rain covered my tears"

… (sound of raindrops)

… (sound of raindrops)

… (sound of raindrops)

… (sound of raindrops)

… (sound of raindrops)

"They are trying to communicate with me, but I do not understand at all" he thought.

"Thank you, please … (while staring at the fox)" I hope they understand what I mean, he thought.

I kept saying the same words, hoping they would understand.

"Unlucky ! I can't stand it anymore, my body… feels like it's on fire, my head is so heavy" he thought.

That sweet girl, said something to me, "namae…wa". What's that ? Ahhh, maybe she mean my name.

With the condition that was quite severe, in the end I collapsed, at first glance I saw that woman and her grandmother panicked…

"Unlucky ! I'm weak" said my heart.

My eyes start to close slowly. And with minimal power…

I try to open my mouth

"Kelvin, my…name".

I fainted…

In the rain, finally the first time she "Mirai" met the stranger "Kelvin".
