Chapter 102 - Lucy who first reported for duty

Lucy, who arrived in Edolas slightly earlier than Calvin, walked with a deep sense of helplessness. Everything in this unfamiliar place made her realize that she was in an unknown world. Since being transported here, she had been waiting for Calvin and Gajeel to arrive, but unfortunately, they hadn't shown up. She quietly speculated that perhaps the teleportation destination was not fixed. With no other options, she had to continue on her own, walking alone.

"First of all, where should I look to find the Lacrima that everyone turned into?" Lucy walked with a mournful expression, feeling the loneliness slowly engulfing her, causing her great discomfort. If it were Lucy who used to travel alone, perhaps she wouldn't feel as fragile. However, ever since she joined Fairy Tail and gained trustworthy companions, she had grown accustomed to relying on them.

"I'll forget about it for now. I should first find a town and inquire for useful information." However, Lucy was fundamentally a strong girl. After a brief moment of self-pity, she regained her determination and began to fill herself with renewed energy.

Lucy, mustering her strength, continued walking and noticed a figure up ahead. From the back, it seemed very familiar, causing her to quicken her pace and approach the figure slowly.

As Lucy got closer, she felt an increasing sense of familiarity with the figure's back. Suddenly, the person seemed to sense her presence and without any warning, turned around, revealing a face that Lucy was extremely familiar with.

"Ah! Calvin! Great, I finally found you!" As soon as she saw the face of the person, Lucy immediately ran after him and put her hand on his shoulder. She gasped and her tone was full of joy.

"Find me? Lucy, have you been looking for me all this time?" Calvin was shocked. She held Lucy's shoulder in disbelief and asked gently.

"Of course! How could I manage on my own without you?" Lucy giggled and felt a sense of relief. The gloom that had clouded her mind due to the danger her friends faced and her solitude vanished in an instant. With the sight of 'Calvin,' she believed that everything could be resolved perfectly.

"Great! Lucy, you are not angry with me! I have been looking for you!" Calvin suddenly hugged Lucy and gently touched the hair on her head. She spoke gently like a lover.

"What's the matter? I'm not that petty!" Lucy, feeling uncomfortable with Calvin's sudden enthusiasm, gently pushed him away and couldn't help but feel a bit strange. This Calvin seemed somewhat different from the Calvin she knew.

"Don't be shy, there's no one else here. Come on, give me a nice hug. I miss your warmth." Calvin's eyes sparkled with a playful smile as he opened his arms, seemingly waiting for Lucy to embrace him.

"Eh?" Lucy was shocked. She gradually felt that something was wrong.

"Since you insist on me taking the initiative and don't want to be shy, I won't refuse." Calvin let out a soft sigh as if playing along with Lucy's mischievousness. Without waiting for her to react, he embraced her deeply.

Lucy's face turned even redder as she felt Carlvin's arms around her and realized that he was not only hugging her but also touching her back and even her buttocks. She felt a rush of embarrassment and confusion, her mind struggling to process what was happening. In an instant, she managed to break free from his embrace, taking a few steps back with a mix of puzzlement and displeasure on her face.

Out of her instinct as a woman, Lucy gave Calvin a hard slap, leaving a fiery handprint on his face.

"Judging by your appearance, I thought you had become more gentle, but it seems you're still as fiery as ever," Calvin said, pressing the handprint on his face, his expression dazed. Lucy couldn't help but feel a twinge of remorse at his appearance.

"But! I also like it very much!" However, the next second, Calvin immediately raised his thumb and sighed. He was so angry that Lucy gave him another flying kick.

"Indeed, you may say you're not angry, but deep down, you're still furious, aren't you? And it's understandable. We both have made mistakes, especially me, going behind your back and flirting with other women, even our guildmates... I truly am sorry,"

"But sometimes I can't control myself. Lucy, can you help me?" Although Calvin was kicked away, he showed an even more painful look and sincerely begged Lucy.

Looking at Lucy's gradually softening expression, Calvin laughed in his heart: "Lucy is a soft person, but my acting is too good!"

"What do you mean by 'that kind of thing'? What exactly are you referring to?" Lucy looked at Calvin's expression and felt a tinge of pity for him, although she was still curious about the significant change he had undergone since arriving in this world. She asked with genuine curiosity.

"Which thing? Of course, I'm talking about that thing!" Calvin was a bit puzzled but thought Lucy was just being playful. He leaned closer to Lucy's ear and whispered, revealing exactly what he meant by "that thing."

After listening to Calvin's explanation, Lucy turned completely red, her eyes widened, and her mouth hung open in disbelief. She stared at Calvin, unable to articulate her thoughts, her mind seemingly overwhelmed. "That thing," for Lucy, an innocent young girl, was just too stimulating to comprehend.

Seeing that Lucy did not seem to be pretending, Calvin's expression gradually became doubtful. Not only did Lucy have doubts about him, but even Calvin felt that something was wrong.

After a while, Calvin finally understood and had a moment of realization. He exclaimed, "Oh! I got it now. You are Earth Land Lucy, right?"

Calvin's words also made Lucy come back to her senses. She remembered that Mystogan had said that the world that sucked away Magnolia was called Edolas, and the world she was originally in was called Earth Land.

"You're one of Edolas' people"

Poor Lucy, Mystogan never told her that the two worlds have the same appearance but opposite characters

Calvin stood in front of a luxurious house, a little stunned. Just now, he followed Erza and others to the kingdom's capital, and the person who gave him a ride warmly sent him to his house, but now, he encountered a big or small problem.

"Is this Calvin's house in Edolas? Well, now how should I get inside?" Calvin looked at the grand gate, searching everywhere but couldn't find a keyhole. As the owner of the house, he couldn't just force his way in.

Upon closer observation, Calvin noticed a glass circular hole in the door. Curiosity compelled him to lean in and examine it. Suddenly, a beam of light emitted from the glass hole, scanning across Calvin's face. Then, a sweet voice with a mechanical tone spoke, "Welcome back, Master Calvin." Immediately after, the door opened.

"So advanced..." Calvin was a little surprised, but he quickly recovered his calm expression and stepped in.

"The other version of myself seems to hold a significant position in this country. Perhaps I can find some information here in his house." Calvin looked around, scanning for any possible clues. Soon enough, his gaze fell upon a drawer in one of the rooms, where he noticed a journal.

Without hesitation, he opened it. Soon, Calvin's face began to turn red, and his expression changed dramatically. It was very interesting.

"How many girls has this guy harmed? To keep a detailed record of each one? And even Cana and Lucy... Unforgivable!" After reading it, Calvin angrily slammed the book onto the ground, expressing his outrage. However, after a moment, he picked it up and tucked it into his pocket.

"I will make sure justice is served for all the women who have been victimized! That bastard even took photographs? No way! I must find those photos and destroy them!" Calvin continued his search, his expression filled with determination and righteousness.
