“Cousin! Are you referring to Patrick's female cousin?" In amazement, Maria inquired loudly.
"Yes, that girl is like a leech," Avita said passionately, puffing out her cheeks, “I thought I had gotten rid of her the last time, but it appears that I won't be able to do so this time!"
Maria was both enraged and intrigued. Knowing Avita's character, she wouldn't be this upset if that female cousin was a nice person.
"What exactly did she do this time?"
Avita turned to face her companion and began to air her grievances.
Patrick unexpectedly called her to inform her that his female cousin Janet was in the hospital. She was apparently thrashed by some thugs on her way back from the workshop she came to attend in the city.
And now that she was in the hospital, someone had to look after her.
"That is absolutely hilarious! Does he want you to look after her?" Maria became enraged at the thought of her friend being a nanny to a green tea b***.
