Trey's House
26 weeks...
It'd been a week and Trey was still being distant. Initially, she had chalked it up to the fact that he was under stress and that he was still emotionally exhausted from the events that had unfolded. But, as other evidences had proven, it clearly wasn't.
He spoke to the guys - a given, since they were all helping him out - but the girls too. She didn't want to admit she was jealous, but she was. It wasn't that he didn't speak to her at all - he did, but it was always strained and awkward, and he kept spending less and less time with her. He didn't even ask about the babies, whether they'd kicked or if they were 'behaving'. He'd kiss the top of her head when it was time to sleep, then sneak out of the room (when he thought she was asleep) to his office to do only he knew what.
And, as she'd decided, enough was enough.
