Hampstead Heath Subway

She couldn't do it.
She was sat on a bench at the subway station where she had planned to board the train that would take her to Southampton. She'd missed the train though - on purpose. She'd been right there when it had arrived and she'd stared at it as people boarded till it had left.
Because she couldn't leave.
The plan had been to go by train from Hampstead Heath - where they were - to Southampton Central, where she would leave the UK via cruise. Roberta had strongly advised she not go anywhere - especially that far. But she'd protested, saying she needed the break.
Still unhappy she was up and about, Roberta had said if she really had to, she couldn't go by plane as it would bring on more complications - something she didn't want. However, that wasn't what had changed her mind.
