The Cunninghams' House
20 weeks...
Mitchell knocked on the door thrice and stepped back, huffing. "I'm always knocking on a door," he grumbled under his breath. He shoved his hands in his pocket, waiting for the door to be answered.
They could hear noises from inside the house. It was... chaotic though they were unable to make out a single word. Even louder was a baby crying, and he wondered if they'd heard the knock at all.
Trey chuckled. "And no one's knocking on yours?"
"No." He expelled a breath then added in the same undertone voice, "Nobody. Absolutely no one."
"Come on," Trey murmured with a smile, shoving Mitch's shoulder with his. Mitchell glared at him. They were on a job for goodness sakes. They had to look the part. "What do expect when your house is located in the middle of nowhere?"
"I mean... I don't live in the middle of nowhere -"
