"Hi Alexa," Ethan said, knowing full well that she hated that name now. That's why she made her friends call her Lexi instead - what Trey had always called her. He refused to do same.
"Don't call me that. Nobody calls me Alexa anymore. And let go of me," she bit out through clenched teeth. She tried pulling out of his hold.
"Just dance with me Alexa. There's something we have to talk about." He paused, dropping his hold on her elbow to rest his hands on her waist. She begrudgingly set hers on his shoulders because she wanted to hear what he had to say.
"Remember I said you were mine? I meant that sweetheart. If I wasn't going to have you, no one would either. Now look at you," he mocked, a look of satisfaction present on his face. "You are being dumped by your husband who believed me. So, let's make a deal, shall we?"
