Chereads / Talentless Transmigration / Chapter 32 - Temptation of Sin

Chapter 32 - Temptation of Sin

"So you're the strongest in the camp, right?" a girl asked me. Curly, short brown hair, with cat ears and whiskers. Her eyes were brown, along with her hair.

This person... is an anomaly, for sure. I didn't see her last time. So why is she here this time?

"I guess I am."

That was true. I managed to beat Oscar, with my knowledge from the future. I beat everyone else who challenged me, and I'm pretty well respected now.

"So you should fight me!"

"I don't fight girls. You all are pesky and weak. Now shoo!" I gestured for her to get away from me.

Now, I have nothing against demihumans. But women? I despise most of them!

She pouted and... well, I'm not sure what she did after. She probably... skipped away, or something like that.

This is really a hassle. I need to hurry up and escape again, so I can become stronger.

This is a cheat code, right? I started all the way back her, with knowledge from the future. Am I the main character?

To add onto that, I'll finally be able to have relationships with people! I've always... wanted to have friends! Maybe I won't be so hungry for power!

I can restart!

"The master is calling you, Cherva."

To be honest, I didn't have the slightest feeling of nervousness in me. Usually, in a situation like this, the average person would be just a bit scared.

It's just like when a teacher calls a student up to the board, and they have no idea how to answer the question.

"You called for me, master?"

Now that I think about it, I was never able to see the master throughout my lifetime. He was always mysterious, working from the shadows.

"You're right."

Huh? An elven woman, with green eyes and brown hair. A... w-woman! No way! I'm not listening to the orders of a woman! But...

"What is it that you need from me, master?"

I don't have a death wish.

"I have... an offer for you. You have the option to decline, Cherva. But knowing you, I don't think you'd want to."

"Knowing... me?"

"Yes. Your thirst for power. You're unsatisfiyed with your current strength. So you wish to become stronger, right?"

"..."

Does she have the ability to read minds?

"I'll take that silence as a yes. Listen closely, Cherva."

I leaned forward.

"There's a way for you to get stronger."

"Tell me!"

"Bring me the head of Oscar. I'll tell you the secrets."

"What!? Why... why Oscar?"

Oscar had became one of my good companions. He was one of the only people that could stand his ground against me. I really liked speaking to him, too.

I think he was my... first friend.

The woman shook her head and sighed. Then, she stuck out her hand. A flame, brighter than anything I had ever produced appeared. It was black and blue, burning the skin off her palm.

Shit. This is really convincing.

"Tch."

"It's your choice. You can bring his head if you'd like."

"Still. I'm not saying I'm going to do it, but why do you need Oscar's head?" I questioned her.

"If you really wish to have this power, you wouldn't ask any questions."

Damn it. I sighed, and walked out of the room. Would I... really kill Oscar?
