After a good round of pillow fight. Terisee and her friends fell asleep next to each other. it was really nice. Terisee woke up and looked at the grandfather clock next to the door
"it is six twenty four" Terisee mummured and yawned and closed her eyes While Maya opened hers.
"What did you say princess" Maya asked but heard a tired groan. So she looked at the clock herself.
"Oh my goodness gracious princess wake up" she yelled and jumped out of the bed
"what is it" Terisee asked as Maya pulled her out of bed
"The ball is to start by seven pm and you are not close to being ready, we have just thirty minutes left" Maya said panicking
"Relax we will just come up with an excuse like I am sick or something" Terisee said and shurgged
"Princess we are not doing that now take this towel and go freshen up please" Maya said now she was really nervous
"Ok ok I am going am going" Terisee said in-between yawns and strode to the bathroom
"Will you get up from that bed you peice of problem" Maya said while hitting Mia with a towel she was holding.
"I am coming ,i coming, ha you are a fun spoiler" Mia said and jumped out of bed
"Sorry to cut your beauty sleep but get to work, go make that beauty paste for the princess I promised her mom she will look like a princess and now I have only thirty minutes left to keep my promise" Maya said and brought out a dress for Terisee.
"well somebody is not going to like that dress"Mia said while crushing the herbs for the paste
"She will just have to wear it besides it is not so fancy" Maya said
"But she's not going to like it I am sure" Mia said
"Will you stop reminding me already?"Maya asked
"Sorry my lady"Mia said
"can you believe that these people plut scented candles in the bathroom and rose petals in the bath water" Terisee said while drying her hair
" Fancy, I will check it out later" Maya said
"No wonder you smell so nice princess"Mia said
"so I do not smell nice on a normal day" Terisee said charging towards Mia before Maya drew her back.
"Leave her princess, do not take her words to heart she is not normal" Maya said and helped Terisee to sit on the dressing table.
"ohh I am not normal yes but please no one should ask me to make pudding when we get home" Mia said and walked towards the dressing table.
"Well that's the only thing that I benefit from you" Maya said
"Please stay still princess I will just apply this and leave it on for two minutes then I will do your makeup." Mia said and began to apply the paste on Terisee's face
"like I said we do not have to go to the ball we can tell a ...." Terisee said
"What, no way are we doing that" Maya said
"You are so boring Maya"Terisee said
"I am glad someone finally catches up" Mia said
"I will ignore you two now hurry up we do not have much time left" Maya said
"Hey look at this" Mia said when Maya was done with Mia's makeup
"What's that" Terisee asked looking at Mia's direction and so did Maya.
"look at this amazing art" Mia said and crossed the distance between them.
" let me see them...Wow such beauty" Terisee said
"This is one of a kind I have never seen such detailed art" Maya said
" Beautiful" Terisee gasped as she examined the art work on sheets of paper. One of them showed the sun setting with touches of red
which added to the serene of the sea. But the one which caught Terisee's eyes was the sketch if a young girl reading under a tree. Her face looked so peaceful while she read. She did not seem to not notice the artist at work. Terisee wondered who sat down to draw this girl. The plants and flowers looked so real that Terisee could almost smell them .Ever since she turned 20 her grandmother has been on the hunt to find a suitor for her so far so good Terisee has managed to avoid the men by staying indoors she missed the outdoors the beautiful flowers and animals but as much as she loves to experience those things she also hates to think about the fact she will get married to an arrogant prince who has tons of mistresses. Or some old king who will make her perhaps wife number twelve.
"Princess are you okay" Mia asked shaking Terisee from her trance.
"I am fine Mia" Terisee said and got up from the dressing table and put on her dress.
"The ball has begun princess I can hear the music" Mia said
"Oh my you better get going because you have to be at the ball before the royal family" Maya said
"Yes sure thing are you coming" Terisee asked
"Nope I want to try out that bath" Maya said
"Well I am coming" Mia said "Give me two minutes to get something on"
Three minutes later
"Mia you are going to make the princess late and then get Sean in trouble because he is supposed to get the princess but you know princess told him to go get rest." Maya said
"oh sorry let us go princess" Mia said
"Enjoy your bath Maya" Terisee said
"Oh I will with all those scented candles and roses"
At the ball
"Welcome my lady" an attendant at the door greeted
"Good evening gentleman" Terisee replied
"of which kingdom are you from and what is your status" Another gentleman asked
"I am princess Terisee from the kingdom of chachak" Terisee said with a bit of pride
"oh my apologies I didn't notice you welcome Princess"

"how about her" The gentleman asked
"oh I am her personal assistant Mia, nice to meet you" Mia said immediately because she knew Terisee was going to say she was her best friend.
"ok welcome to the ball please take the stairs to the ballroom below" He said
Terisee walked down the stairs to the ball room. She made sure to watch her steps very carefully falling down here would be a big disgrace to her graceful grandmother.
