Chapter 13: The Hunt for the Lost
As the sandstorm calmed down, Allen's group realized that some of their friends were missing. Panic set in as they worried about their safety.
"We can't just leave them out here," Maaya said, her voice trembling.
Robin and Aster, who had originally been lost, were more concerned about finding their way back to the excavation site. "We need to find a way back," Robin said, his voice tense.
Adam rolled his eyes. "Typical," he muttered under his breath.
"What was that?" Robin asked, shooting Adam a dirty look.
"Nothing," Adam said, smirking.
"We can't just give up on our friends," Allen said, his voice determined. "We need to find them."
The group agreed, and they set out to search for their missing friends. As they walked, they encountered new challenges and obstacles that tested their resolve and teamwork. The sun began to set, and their supplies were running low.
"We have to keep going," Allen said, his voice determined. "We'll find a way to make it through the night."
As they walked, the tension between Maaya and Aster continued to simmer. "We have to find them," Maaya said, her voice determined.
Aster rolled his eyes. "Fine, let's find them. But we need to be realistic about our chances."
As they searched, Adam found himself getting frustrated with Robin and Aster's bickering with Maaya. "We don't have time for this," he said, his voice rising.
Maaya held him back, and Allen stepped in again. "We have to stay focused and work together," he said firmly.
As night fell, the group realized that they had to set up camp. They gathered logs and branches to make a fire and huddled together for warmth.
"I don't know how much longer we can last," Aster said, his voice low.
"We have to keep trying," Robin said, his voice determined. "We can't give up now."
As they settled in for the night, they took turns keeping watch. The desert was eerily quiet, and the stars shone brilliantly above them.
"We'll find them," Maaya said, her voice soft but resolute. "We have to."
The others nodded in agreement, and they settled in for a long and uncertain night.
