Chapter 4: The Genius and the Heartthrob
As soon as Allen entered the classroom, all eyes were on him. He was tall, with chiseled features and piercing blue eyes that seemed to stare right through you. And on top of all that, he was incredibly intelligent, acing every test and impressing the teachers with his insightful comments.
All the students were in awe of him, except for Emi. She couldn't help but roll her eyes every time someone gushed about Allen's looks or intelligence. She knew he was smart and attractive, but she didn't see what all the fuss was about.
Emi's best friends, Jia, Maaya, and Adam, were supportive and loving towards her. They were always there for her, no matter what. Jia and Maaya also appreciated Allen's intelligence and looks, but they didn't fawn over him as much as some of the other students did.
Adam, on the other hand, was the only one in their friend group who thought that Allen was overhyped. "I mean, he's smart and all, but he's not the only intelligent person in the world," he would say.
Despite their differing opinions on Allen, the four friends always stood by each others side. They were a tight-knit group, and nothing could break their bond.
As the semester progressed, the teachers began to take notice of Allen's intelligence and leadership potential. They decided to make him the class representative, with Emi as his vice representative. The two top students were the perfect pair to lead the class.
In class, Allen and Emi often found themselves paired up for group projects and activities. Allen would come up with brilliant ideas, while she would be the one to put them into action. They made a great team, even if Emi did roll her eyes at Allen's occasional cheesy jokes.
Meanwhile, Allen had his own group of friends, including Amaira, Eve, and James. They were all equally intelligent and driven, and they often worked together on projects outside of class.
One day, the teachers announced that the college was planning a trip to Inkara, a mysterious kingdom that had been lost for hundreds of years. The students were thrilled at the prospect of visiting such a fascinating place.
As the class buzzed with excitement, Emi turned to her friends and grinned. "Looks like we're going on an adventure, guys. And who knows, maybe we'll even find some treasure."
Jia and Maaya laughed, but Adam shook his head. "I highly doubt it. But it'll still be fun to explore a new place."
Allen, who was sitting nearby, overheard their conversation and chimed in. "Actually, I've been doing some research on Inkara and there are some rumors that there might be ancient artifacts and treasures hidden there. We could try to investigate and see if there's any truth to those rumors."
Emi raised an eyebrow. "Really? That sounds interesting. Maybe we should do some digging while we're there."
Jia and Maaya nodded in agreement, but Adam just shook his head again. "You guys and your treasure hunting. Just enjoy the trip for what it is."
As the group continued to discuss their plans for the trip, Allen couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. He had always been fascinated by ancient history and the thought of discovering lost artifacts was thrilling.
Little did he know, his adventure to Inkara would change his life forever.
