"How do i look?"Felicia asked her husband who was applying his strong scented perfume.
"Beautiful as always"he replied looking at his charming wife who wore a sky blue laced dress. Her majestic diamond earrings hung down from her ear and in addition to those earrings,a diamond necklace was around her neck.There were two rings in her finger. One with a blue stone in her third finger of her left and a silver one on the fourth finger of her right. On her feet were glittery white flat pumps. Her wavy hair was styled in a braided bun and some shiny clips were clipped on to the top of the bun.
"You know iam really lucky to have a beautiful wife like you" He said making his lovely wife happy with the praise and she walked upto him and took the tie from his hand. She tied the fabric which was dark blue in colour. When she was done Felicia looked at him and Robert was staring into her eyes looking at her with admiration. He truly loved her a lot. Before they could proceed with any more of their sweet talks there was a knock on the wooden door of their room.
"Come in" Robert gave the maid the permission to enter and she came to tell them that
"Madam Felicia, Mrs Gabriella and Mrs Elina are here"
"Take them to the garden. We are coming" The maid understood Felicia's order and went downstairs to take care of the guests. The woman took them to the garden in which the colourful flowers danced with the breeze. The tulips were tossing their head to and fro. The place's beauty had been multiplied as it had been beautifully decorated. Chairs were setted and there was a table covered with a white sheet. On the table bottles of water and cutlery was placed. The two families sat on the chairs.
Mrs Gabriella's husband's name was Aidan and he had black hair just like his wife. His eye colour was blue while Gabriella's eyes were raisin brown. However there only son William had spectacular gray eyes. At first the couple thought that after the passing of time his eyes would become brown as that was what most chances were of happening but when Liam's eyes remained gray the result came out to be that Aidan's father had gray eyes and those were inherited from him to their son.
Coming to Elina's family she had two boys and a well earning husband. Her husband, Samuel's profession was of a businessman managing industrial products. One of her son Henry's skin tone was a mix of her and Samuel's. Henry and Fredrick had hazel brown eyes but Henry's hair colour was a shade of brown while his little brother had black hair. The elder brother was of the same age as Nick while Fredrick was Louis and William's agemate.
The woman hosting the party stepped into the garden with her own members. Her eldest son had the spotlight to himself because he was the person whom everyone was going to compliment today. Then came another son of hers who had two years age difference from his elder brother. Louis was also dressed up and appeared princely. The youngest and playful Renae held her father's hand with a smile on her face. A pink frock was on her body and her hair was in a simple braid.
"Hello sorry for the delay"Felicia said as she moved forwad to the five empty chairs where she and her husband with the kids were going to sit.
"That is no problem. We could have waited longer if you were busy with something important" Elina spoke to her bestfriend whose family took the unoccupied chairs for themselves. Seeing everyone seated Miss Lina,the maid rushed to the kitchen to bring the steaming hot food.
"Also Nick here. This is a little gift for you"Mrs Gabriella pulled out a box from under the table which was wrapped in gift paper.
"Gabriella what was the need for that?"Felicia asked to which Gabriella smiled and Elina also gave her friend a bag inside which another gift was.
"Thank you but start eating or the food would become cold" They started to add the edibles to thier plates and began to stuff themselves with the tasty food. They ate and drank till they were full.
The cutlery was collected by Mrs Lina and some of her helpers who took them to the kitchen to wash them. After the table was left with nothing but the white sheet which had gotten stained with ketchup and gravy the guests made groups with them whom they were most close with. Felicia took her bestfreinds in the living room to treat them with tea and biscuits.
"Oh i almost forgot to tell you two. Did you hear about what happened with Anne's son?"Elina spoke and dipped the biscuit in the tea as that was hoe she liked it.
"No,why what happened with him?"Felicia asked her
" Her oldest son was murdered by a mafia who threatened to kill him if she didn't give him the documents her husband had"
"Oh god"Felicia gasped upon the shocking revelation.
"Mafias are evil"Elina added when she caught Gabriella glaring at her and took back the words by saying
"Not all mafias are evil...but most are"
"If we are talking about mafias which isn't my favourite topic but how is Micheal doing?"Gabriella questioned her friend as her husband was Micheal's brother.
"Just poking his nose in Robert's business every now and then" Mrs Robert told her friends making them land in confusion. The bewildered expression on their faces asked her to explain. She sighed before starting her complains and issues with Micheal.
"First of all he is always finding faults in Robert's work. Yesterday he came here and said that the policies which Robert made were wrong and my poor Robert also keeps on taking his brother's so called advice. Tell me can you expect a mafia to know about trade and industry?" The two females listening carefully shook their heads as a No. They had only seen Micheal and didn't know about his personality. The best they could assume about him was that he too was like the other mafias. Dangerous,evil and mean but they didn't know that Micheal's life out from his work was pleasant and nice.
"He is unmarried right?"Elina inquired and putted the empty cup on the glass table.
"Why are you asking. You want to marry him?"Felicia pursed her lips and on her statements Gabriella laughed. Elina didn't find it funny.
"I only asked besides i have Samuel who is a perfect husband"she folded her arms. A golden bracelet on her wrist.
On the other hand the second group which had Louis,Fredrick and William was playing in the garden. Blindman's buff was the game which they were playing. However after bumping into trees and falling into bushes they didn't want to play that game anymore.
"What do we doo?"Fred whined and sat on the ground. He had no worries of his clothes getting dirty due to the dirt.
"Let's race to that tree"William pointed to the tree at the end on the garden. Ropes which held the swing on which Renae would swing on were tied to that tree.
"No,you always win"Louis rejected Liam's suggestion to which he responded with confidence.
"Amongst us if there is anyone who is the fastest then it is me"Fred and Louis remained silent as they couldn't prove him wrong even by racing him. William had a very high speed when he would run. Like Louis's older brother Nicholas he too had won some trophies.
The males of the family were busy in their own chit chat. Samuel bragged about his mafia position reaching the peak of success and so did Aidan tell Robert about the amazing advantages he was getting due to the industry being in shambles. His company was the only one who was providing the materials and were the best company as most of the sellers would buy their items from them. Between them Robert was feeling embarassed as he didn't have much to tell them and it also seemed as if they were more excited to learn about Micheal then talking about Robert himself.
The clock ticked by and it was night. They all sat in the dining room for dinner and had a good time. At the end of the feast they were going to rest on the chairs because they were exhausted when the kids had another plan. The parents watched as their kids started to pick up chairs and push them to the center of the room. Renae who was the youngest was dragging a chair to the center helping the others. The legs of the chairs made a piercing sound when Renae dragged them on the tiles floor from the end of the room to the center
"Boys what are you doing?"Elina asked her sons. Henry and Nicholas looked at each other and then Nick replied
"Auntie Elina we are going to play musical chairs"
"Why don't you all join us?"Henry said and the chaos was welcomed as the room filled with the kids deafening noise
"Please please come on!" The six kids jumped here and there leaving the adults with no other choice but to join them. More chairs were brought and Miss Lina started the music. The kids were moving and seeing the kids having fun Shawn's inner child came out and in a minute he was busting moves as they moved in a circle. The children laugh was a melody to one's ears and Shawn's dancing was making the adults enjoy themselves in the game.
"Stop"Miss Lina said loudly and the music was no longer playing. Suddenly before Elina could sit on the chair her husband Samuel held her hand and pulled her close. That was only a distraction for him to sit on the chair himself.
"Cheater Cheater Cheater"The boys who were in defence of their mother broke out and Samuel gave the seat back to his wife. The game continued and one by one the number of chairs was decreasing. Fredrick also got the seat at the last moment by pushing his brother out of the way. In the end it was Felicia and William left. Felicia didn't want to make the boy sad and gave up her seat purposely. William quickly sat down ending the game with him as the winner.
"You did good"Louis congratulated his friend who was happily hopping like a bunny.
"I guess iam the best runner and the best player of musical chairs"
With the finish of the game it was the finish of the party and was the time for the two families to go home.
"Felicia it was such an amazing day"
"Next time the party would be at my place"
"Sure why not?"Mrs Robert was in a good mood that the party went by all fine. She bid her friends goodbye and watched as their vehciles disappeared from her sight. This party became memorable for the three female freinds as they gossiped and had a great time. It became an unforgettable day in the life of the three.
