"Listen! Let me explain myself." Moon said to Amaterasu
She says with a piercing gaze "That's not the way I taught you to ask for someone to hear you out."
Moon kneels with his head down and says "Please hear me out!"
Astro thinks "So this human is dominant. Interesting. Should I tease him a bit?"
Amaterasu says "What mother would make their child beg and keel to them. I will hear you out if you promise to go back to school."
Moon gets up and doesn't dare to bring his head back up. He stares at the floor.
"I don't think I can," he said
Amaterasu asks with a sickening smile on her face "And why is that dear son?"
"I have stuff I need to do," he says
She asks "Why is this stuff?"
Moon raises his head and clears his throat. He looks her in the eyes and says "I need to get stronger. Also, I need to discover myself."
Moon shouts "Amaterasu! Please look at me and let me go."
Amaterasu looks at Moon and remembers him when he first got there home.
"Yeah, he isn't the same boy with eyes of despair anymore. I have to let him go. But would any good mother let their child leave him home in this world? Eclipse and Hikari left for a sibling bonding trip and won't be back til next week. Fine. I am fine being a bad mother if it means my children can be happy!" Amaterasu thought
Amaterasu hugs Moon and says "I will let you leave then."
Moon says "Thank you Amaterasu."
Amaterasu asks "Since I got you now, who is she?"
Moon turns his neck to Astro.
Amaterasu clutches him tighter and says "I won't let you go so easily. Now explain. I mean she is the first person you ever brought home."
Moon says while turning his head back to Amaterasu "She is just a friend. Her name is Astro."
Astro makes her voice childish and cute. She says "Just a friend after all we said and did. We shared vows and promised our futures to each other."
Moon says "Don't lie."
Amaterasu gets engulfed with rage. Moon notices this and slips from her arms while he still can.
He runs to Astro and grabs her hand.
He says "Astro we need to leave now."
Astro asks "Why should we?"
Moon says "Because when she is enraged, she loses control and breaks everything. Even people."
Astro snaps and a barrier is constructed.
Amaterasu rushes them and with one clean blow breaks the barrier.
Both Moon and Astro watch as the barrier shatters.
She thinks "Even with this weakened form, no human should be able to break my barrier nonetheless see it at this density of magic. What is with this person?"
Astro blinks and stars form in her eyes and she looks into Amaterasu.
Amaterasu's red aura is exposed to Astro's eyes.
Astro says "I see. That is weird. That explains some things."
She looks at Moon and says "This time you are right."
Astro prepares a hyper jump which takes three seconds to teleport them.
As their bodies faze out Astro says "Goodbye for now. We will be needing your help."
