How To Write An Original Story

The Original Realm

Official Art for the Novel at @the_original_realm (I am not sure if this is allowed, if its not please inform me and I will remove the link) Ten years ago, six-year-old Luke Mace witnessed the impossible. On a snowy mountain, during what was supposed to be an ordinary family hike, a monstrous creature emerged from a glowing portal and tore his life apart, killing his parents before vanishing into thin air. No one believed his story. The official explanation was an avalanche, but Luke has never forgotten the truth: the creature, and the strange portal, were real. Now sixteen, Luke joins a school field trip to the same mountain, only to find himself drawn back to the site of his deepest pain. As the snow falls and strange forces awaken, the portal reactivates, pulling Luke into Aethereon, a realm of ancient power and shifting landscapes, brimming with the mysterious energy known as Advent. In this otherworldly dimension, Luke discovers that the creature responsible for his parents' deaths, known only as The Anomaly, roams freely, a force of chaos that answers to no one. Determined to confront it and make it pay for what it took from him, Luke begins his journey, joined by a group of unlikely companions he meets along the way. Together, they navigate the perils of Aethereon, from its labyrinthine forests to its towering, crystalline peaks, facing foes born of Advent's raw power. As Luke learns to wield Advent himself, he realizes that his quest for revenge is far more complicated than he imagined. The Anomaly is more than just a killer-it is a being tied to the fabric of both Aethereon and Earth, and its existence threatens to unravel the balance between worlds. To survive and protect everything he loves, Luke must face not only the monster but the truths buried deep within himself. The Original Realm is a gripping story of loss, vengeance, and self-discovery, as Luke Mace ventures into the unknown to confront the past and forge his own path forward.
