The third great ninja war was still going on as the battle between nations gradually started to increase. As the time pass countless people died on the battlefield. On the other side as ruined country defenders, the family who live in the country of Whirlpools had to fight with their might as the pressure on them only increased without any mishaps.
Most of the intruders were from hidden mist village who wanted to take advantage of the situation and search for the Uzumaki sealing techniques in the middle of the war. Though they couldn't find anything from the ruins, they didn't give up as they often found out a concealed barrier and pass through it. As a fight for life, it became a blood shed without any regrets on the Uzumaki - Uchiha family members' faces.
"Finally we can have a break" Tsumiki said after pushed the shovel to the ground.
"Yup, no more intruders for time being. But definitely another search team will arrive shortly" the red haired woman put a hand on the man's shoulder.
"Earth style, earth flow wave"
A red hair little girl buried the rest of dead bodies as she ride on the earth wave. The girl's height nearly reach to the man's knees. Though she looked like more than five years old child, she is just nearing to her three years old birthday in another six months.
"Good work my little baby" the man grinned
"Come here let's eat something to fill our stomachs baby" the red haired woman put her hand on a storage scroll. A big bowl of boiled sweet potatoes appeared in front of them.
Without wasting time Tsukiho also washed hands with her parents and started to eat after peeling the skin.
Though she is now two and half years old they still didn't let her to kill anyone. They took care of her and let her grow freely despite having battlefield environment. It has been more than an year since she visited hidden leaf village for the first time and last time for time being.
But she didn't forget to send letters to her loved ones and friends in every three days despite being unable to have any replies from them except Kushina who is an Uzumaki. Every time she sent her a letter she immediately replied her despite having having so many trainings to do.
Occasionally she went to visit Madara and train with him. She found he is a good listener and a teacher to learn many things. Sometimes they even started to talk about philosophy. He almost taught every fire style jutsu though she only used the jutsus that suitable for her at least with her current chakra size that almost reaching to Jonin level.
She sometimes tried to research about wood style kekkei genkai after she found many scrolls from her mother. First she was surprised about the people who possessed wood style. She could even found a scroll from the first hokage Hashirama Senju.
When she saw it first she really felt sorry for the scroll. His writing is really far from elegant. If she had seen it one year earlier she might say it is good enough to read. But after she got OCD for calligraphy, she felt her eyes twitching.
But later she found out it was a one of calligraphy styles from Warring States era as she found similar types of scrolls. She even found out he really put a lot of effort to write them. So she simply felt some respect for the unreliable first hokage.
At first she started to train with her water and earth chakra to know more about those chakra natures. Somehow her grandmother had second hokage's almost all of his exclusive water style ninjutsu recorded in a scroll. So even though she didn't get much results when she mixing those two elements but her water and earth element chakra natures become her second best choices after her fire style.
Since there wasn't much time left for her great grandfather's 'rescue', she had been training like a machine for the past year. Her parents also supported her as they knew with the war it will be more hard to survive. But they didn't forget to give her many relaxed family times during the breaks as it made her genuinely happy as a past orphan.
Because she is an Uzumaki and Uchiha combination, her talent was already at the top of the shinobi world even surpassing Kakashi. Coupled with cheat like multi shadow clones, her leaning time for one jutsu reduced by months as she took a less than a week sometimes.
She had plenty of times to fight with her full strength but every time she fight with her father, she was completely oppressed by him. But it improved her grasp of kenjutsu and shuriken jutsu. Her use of taijutsu also increased with her body size though she still very short.
But she managed to learn the complete version of chakra enhanced taijutsu. As she controlled the chakra in to her muscles without letting came outside from the enhanced part.
As for her fuinjutsu, she almost finished B rank and learned some of A rank sealing jutsu. She even managed to learn some S rank sealings even though they are still theoretical phase. She still didn't manage to make the yin seal on her forehead as she didn't had time to spare any chakra.
"Mom when will grandma coming?" She put another sweet potato in to her mouth.
"She went to hidden mist village to find out the reason for those intruders honey. Don't worry she will come back in one piece." The purple haired man caressed the girl's slightly grown red hair till her shoulder.
"Papa aren't they come here because of the seal that blocked three tails chakra?" She asked.
"Indeed they are, because the seal is created to weaken their jinchuriki. Most likely he is going to die in one or two years. And the war is also intensifying. So they are very desperate baby" Yuna showed a tired look.
"War is suck" Tsukiho said.
"Yeah, it suck baby" Yuna smiled faintly.
At the same time both of them felt their missing family member's chakra signature near them.
The purple and white haired old lady came to their sight after they turned around. Her little winkled eyes had a huge grief in them as she looked at them. Every one looked at her with a concerning look.
"What's wrong mom?" Tsumiki asked seriously.
"It's about time. He wanted to see her" she looked at Tsukiho.
