Jane was finally discharged from the hospital after fainting in front of my doorstep that left her unconscious. Lilly had rushed to her aid and taken her to the nearest hospital with the help of Kyle and Alex.
Concerned for Jane's well-being, Lilly insisted on taking her home and making sure she was comfortable."Alex I want to take her home, I want to ensure she is fine before leaving please".
"But Lilly I could send the driver to take her home" Alex said he had reservations about the idea.
He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off about Jane, but he didn't want to voice his suspicions and cause unnecessary panic, she seemed somewhat naive but at the same time manipulative and he knew Lilly couldn't see it because she trusted her.
Reluctantly, Alex agreed to let Lilly accompany Jane back home, but he made it clear that he would be keeping a close eye on them. He knew that lilly could be targeted at any time, and his primary concern was her safety, she was the only thing they could use to get to him.
As they left the hospital, Alex arranged for a guy to take Jane's belongings into the car and drive them to her home, ensuring that they wouldn't be burdened with carrying them.
He didn't want his beloved to be burdened with anything, so he and Kyle then left the hospital to go home and arrange her own luggage seeing she would be staying with them for a long time.
Arriving at Jane's home, Lilly felt a sense of relief. She was glad to see her friend back in familiar surroundings. As they entered the house, Lilly's uneasiness grew, and she couldn't help but notice the strange glint in Jane's eyes.
However, she brushed off her concerns, thinking that it might just be the exhaustion from the hospital visit. She had always trusted that she was the closest thing to family right now.
"I'll be going now, I'll check on you later, you need time to recover" Lilly said wanting to give Jane some space to rest and recover. But to her surprise, "no no lilly why don't you stay and have a drink with me before you go please" Jane insisted that she stay and have a drink with her.
Lilly hesitated for a moment, unsure if it was a good idea, "okay fine just one drink you know you're still recovering", she finally gave in to Jane's request.
After all, she wanted to be there for her friend during this difficult time. She didn't want it to seem like she was avoiding her or still mad at her.
Janewalked to the table by his kitchen, poured two glasses of wine and handed one to Lilly. She went back to the couch.
As they sat down on the couch, Lilli took a sip from her glass. Almost instantly, she felt a strange sensation washing over her. The room started spinning, and her head became heavy.
Panic set in as she realized that something was terribly wrong. She tried to form words, to ask Jane what was happening, but her voice failed her, and she collapsed onto the couch, unconscious.
Unbeknownst to Lilly, Jane had drugged her drink. Her intentions were far from innocent, and her true motives were slowly revealing themselves. As Lilly lay unconscious on the couch, Jane's sinister plan began to unfold.
Outside the house, Alex's drivee unease grew stronger. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was terribly wrong.
His boss had told him to look out for his girlfriend, especially since he had a bad feeling about Jane, so his instincts told him that he needed to check on Lilly and Jane immediately.
Ignoring any rational thoughts, he rushed back to Jane's house, his heart pounding in his chest with fear he searched for Jane but he couldn't find her in the house
As he turned and looked at the couch, his heart sank into his stomach. Lilly lay motionless on the couch, completely unconscious.
Panic washed over him as he realized the danger they were in. He quickly dialed emergency services, requesting an ambulance while checking Lilli's vital signs.
But before he could even say a word, something hard hit the back of his head and he fell unconscious with blood oozing from His head, he managed to slide his eyes open he saw Jane and a man carrying Lilly's body away and his eyes shut closed.
