June's POV
September and I'm already thinking of Christmas. You can't blame me, I get to travel, tour and most especially see dad, I miss him so much. He is coming back this Christmas and sure, I would get lots of goodies. I should also start writing up a bucket list. My thoughts were interrupted by Xander who saw it fit to throw me a piece of folded paper.
"Seriously?" I asked with the you know the look face. Must this dude always get on my nerves? This is quite frustrating.
"What were you dreaming of?" he asked and I could hear the bored and mocking tone from his voice.
"None of your business and nothing to care about blockhead." I said emphasizing on the blockhead. His look became gloomy at an instant. Does he really hate the name that much? But it sounds so nice, perfectly describing him right now. At least, I didn't call him an asshole.
"You, don't ever call me that again." he warned and I didn't really take that seriously.
"Why, what would you do? You call me nerd everytime so why can't I call you a blockhead. We both have dumb nicknames so we are even and besides it suits you." I snapped and we both looked at each other stubbornly. After locking heads for some seconds he just rolled his eyes.
"Yes, roll your eyes well, maybe you can find a brain back there." I said to him only to receive a glare from him.
"Miss Evans, Mr Stone do we have a problem there?" the teacher asked.
"No ma" I turned to face the teacher while replying.
"Good to know, be careful so you don't end up in detention." the teacher warned us.
"Sorry ma." I said glaring at Xander before facing the board.
Seriously why is he even pissed it's just a nice nickname, it's not like he didn't give me one. I wouldn't have said anything if he didn't ask for trouble first.Pftt, duh!
The Bell
Finally, class is over. I tapped my belly and I hear a soft rumble. Where is Luen? I'm so hungry right now, I could eat a freaking lion. Spotting her coming from the rest room, I released a sigh I didn't know I was holding. Finally I can eat. Is it normal to say eating is a hobby because I think it is one of my hobbies. I love eating and trying out new delicacies and the sweetest part of it all is that I don't gain extra flesh. I signal to her to come fast to which she complied to. Seems I'm not the only hungry one here. Chuckle.

Cafeteria
Luen and I sat at our favourite table munching on our meal. She had a bottle of coke, a burger and some french fries. I also had a bottle of sprite, meat pie and some fries.
"Hey girls." I heard a familiar voice from behind me. I turned to see Xander pulling a chair close to me. Wait, wasn't he angry at me anymore? Who cares, he almost got me in detention. Lucky he didn't but that doesn't matter, he's smiling again and that's better.
"Hi handsome." Luen replied making me roll my eyes. Here she goes again. Don't get me wrong, Xander is handsome but I can't say that before it gets to his head. I know, I know, I have a sick brain but as they say pride comes before a fall. Wouldn't I be a bad person if I let him fall? Chuckling internally, I'm sure a lot of girls have told him that he's handsome already.
"Do you guys have any plan for this weekend?" Xander asked as he settled on his seat.
"No, we are totally free. Where are we going?" Luen hurriedly replied before I could think of rejecting. I knew what she was trying to play at here.
"Luen…" I angrily called her name while glaring at her.
"What, why are you glaring at me? It's not like you have anywhere to go other than your room where you sleep and watch movies. Loosen up girl"
Disadvantages of having a crazy bestie,1, they drive you mad. It's not like I actually have any plan for the week so I just kept mute and continued munching on my meal.
"So, why did you ask Xander?"
"My step mum is hosting an event and I want you guys to come." he replied while stealing some fries from my plate earning him a glare from me to which he just smirked.
"Why us, what happened to Luka and Mitch? I asked after ignoring what he just did.
"They are also coming but I need you guys there to chase some girls away and avoid unnecessary matchmaking." he said while eating the fries.
"Seriously?" I asked surprised at his reason. A get away means, shouldn't he be happy at that?
"Girl shut up. I'm definitely coming because I'm not letting anyone steal my brother-in-law. After a short pause, Luen's words finally sunk in, raising my head quickly
"Wait, what?" I asked.
Luen doesn't have a sister so who is she speaking of. Wait...
"Luen…" I dragged her name giving her a curious gaze.
"What, have you guys seen yourselves together? You look so f'ing cute. Besides it's obvious you both like yourselves." I thought as much. Blabbermouth, this girl can't keep shut. What should I do with her? I feel like throwing her into the ocean right now.
"Keep quiet." I said trying to cover my ears which were already turning pink from blushing.
"Seems someone has a crush on me." I heard Xander say from the side. Even though I wasn't looking at him, I could tell he was looking at me with a smirk plastered across his face.
"F*ck off." I said to him utterly pissed by the both of them. Can't I have my meal in peace.
"It isn't bad to crush on me. You never know what might come out of it." He said winking while smiling, no smirking.
"Whatever." I said turning to finish my food so I could leave quickly. They never leave a chance to embarrass me.
