"Moltar!"
"Oh, Good Morning Sir Arthas. Did the noise wake you up? I'm sorry its getting quite rowdy."
Moltar greeted him a good morning despite a tense situation with a serious atmosphere, with blood and death around him.
"That doesn't matter now, are you hurt? Is anyone wounded?"
"Good heavens no sir. If anyone would be wounded not only would our body get hurt but also our pride. We have relied enough on you so we thought that we should kill those annoying Lizards before they bother you. But it seems it did, we are very sorry, sir. " He gave a short bow as to show his apologies.
"No, you could have asked for help, what if more of you will die."
"Sir Arthas, please trust in us more besides, these men are trained to kill rather than to tend to cattle and the flock"
"Anyways, what's done is done let's return to the village quickly before anything bad will happen"
Morpheus turned around and quickly went towards the village, his quick speed made the others lag behind and each step causes the world to tremble. Trees all bend a knee as this majestic creature roams the land.
"Hey, Moltar"
"What is it Noward?"
"That boy, Arthas are you really sure you will give him the position? Although he has the strength and personality for it, isn't he a bit inexperienced and naive? To care for soldiers like us… that's unheard of in this kingdom"
"Yes, he is naive and inexperienced but if guided and honed properly, he might be a good leader once we are gone from this village. And he might be a better leader than I, so keep your wits about you Noward."
"...Understood, captain"
The end of their conversation started and they and the others began to speed up trying to catch Arthas…
Unknowingly to them Arthas also had his suspicions regarding the sudden transfer of the position of chieftain, so he plans to talk to them about him leaving soon, already knowing about their intentions but sadly Arthas doesn't want that much of a responsibility placed upon his shoulders.
'These guys really want me to stay here, but no I won't play with you guys alone, it was already quite suspicious for you to give me this cloak much more this position. Moltar what are you really up to.'
They got back to the village where they saw Maria and Shuna and a couple of men with swords and shields. Ready to protect the village for what's about to come.
Arthas that was on top of Morpheus went down and as usual, Morpheus proceeds to sleep. He gathered all the men and called them for an announcement.
"Alright, Moltar, you and your men seem to be capable enough to actually defend yourselves. I won't be here for long and I think it's time for me to go"
"But sir Arthas—" Moltar tried to reply to him but was cut abruptly by Arthas.
"No buts, I know what you want to do with the chief's cloak. No thank you, shit won't be good for me, I need you to lead. You've been their leader for a long time it seems so why stop now?" His voice was filled with anger.
"..."
"It seems you have a freaking reason to leave the responsibilities to me but, heavens No! Tell me what happened weren't you supposed to be strict and stern what the fuck happened there? Huh?"
Aethas was annoyed by being ambivalent about his feelings. 'This guy doesn't want to leave his people alone, but he has a goal he wants to achieve
"...I am sorry—" Moltar once again tried to reason out but before he could he was interrupted by his friend.
"We are very sorry, Arthas." The man made a 90-degree bow towards Arthas deeply apologizing.
"Who are you? Why are you apologizing?" Arthas asked in disdain from the interruption.
"My name is Noward, sir. I am the second-in-command of Captain Moltar, sir!" The man named Noward placed his right hand on his chest where his heart was located and his left hand back.
"Okay so?"
"It's because of us sir, that Captain Moltar wants to leave, Sir! We asked him to help us attack the City, Sir! Or at least try to get our children back…"
"Children? Hold on tell me what happened?" Arthas was genuinely curious and wasn't expecting such an answer.
"It was before the battle began sir, when we heard that Alcemia was victorious we quickly began to go back to our village, but we weren't allowed to go back without the permission of the Lord of the City. They needed payment for anyone who isn't part of the city or was outside the city…"
"It was clear to antagonize you, people, what the hell happened to make that Lord have a beef with you?"
"We didn't do anything, the Lord in the city is a greedy person, rumors are all over about him. It was said he likes young girls, has multiple slaves, and would embezzle money from the people. It was even because of him that Alcemia struggled to defend, he took off leaving the city at first sight of the enemy and took a lot of soldiers with him."
"Scummy motherfxker…So what does that have to do with your children? Let me guess. He took your children in hopes for your payment and either make them slaves or…something else"
"Yes sir, almost everyone here got their children abducted by the Lord. The citizens don't know about this because they want it to be all hidden. We let the others go back to the village first and when we came back Moltar, including me and the others were too late to defend the village, luckily sir you were there."
"Then how does it explain why Moltar has a lot of money to give me to buy you supplies or the ability to get a crate of supplies that may have caused your demise?"
"Sir…They were all given by the city government…"
"Mother, AGH, of course. This pisses me off, Moltar don't be worried I'll help you get your child back even if we have to destroy the city"
"Destroy them?!" Moltar shouted and soon everyone was shocked by Arthas's words.
"Yeah why not, you guys are skillful, I don't know who you really guys are, you are powerful… I would love to hear your story but for now, I'll help you retrieve your children! By the way how many were taken?"
Noward moved forward and answered Arthas in a tone of happiness and confusion from the words of Arthas.
"Not much, considering we let the others go first unnoticed by the guards before the City Lord gave out the orders—"
"Numbers Noward! Give me the numbers you know what they mean! The numbers!" Arthas shouted while his hands formed claws from anger demanding an answer
"Around a hundred or so!"
"There you go, alright you guys know who got taken and who is who so once that time happens I will help return the kids even if we have to destroy them."
'GAD FOCKINH DAMMIT AAA. What is this development this is so shitty, I can't even comprehend what's going on, but after I help them we are done, we're going out.'
Arthas and the boys were having a serious conversation when a sudden shout came to them.
"Arthas, Moltar, Alcemia is under siege once again!"
Everybody looked toward the running man bringing devastating news. The faces of all were full of fear and anxiety, they all thought of one thing 'If Alcemia falls, then they are next to do so'
Their thoughts were full of doom and despair, but on the other hand, there was one who didn't lose hope, except he gained much more than hope he gained enlightenment of the situation and said something unexpected.
"Heh, I guess we won't have to destroy Alcemia ourselves and we can get your kids back"
Arthas's words resonated through the ground and forest as they looked at him with disbelief and thought that he might be crazy.
"Arthas what do you mean by that?" Moltar approached him with a serious look and asked.
"I mean what I said and I said what I mean, we don't have to destroy them. We could just save them instead."
"But how?"
"Do you really have to ask?" Arthas looked back and stared at something behind.
Booming steps and thunder bellowed across the lands as the giant figure rose from its slumber and woed the forest and its people.
The eyes of crimson red fluctuated and emanated a glow of red light. The black skin distinguishes its color from the light.
With a loud roar, it electrified the atmosphere, and chaos and power ensued in the land. The creatures that once ruled this world shall once again show their might to a new day
