"I'll burn you through hell, I'll see you in hell. I'll make you feel hell. Incinerate!"

Pillars of flames spread across the area that Arthas was standing on, everything around him was burning, and the ground was slowly melting from the intense temperature that was produced by him.

The scorpion screeched with pain as it continued to struggle to move but to no avail, it was too weak to do anything but scream in agony. The Bloodstained Scorpion soon reveals its colors of black with white spots that can be seen from its body. Just from the intense temperature that he was facing the blood that was once in his exoskeleton evaporated to thin air just from that one use of his skill.

He was at the center of it all, the flames didn't hurt him but the magnitude at which they burned can be felt from the outside, the bloodstream soon dried up from the intensity of which the pillar of flames that he conjured was enough to cleanse the blood that flowed through the murky soil.

'It can be said that flames can be considered spiritual and that they can cleanse evil spirits, hopefully my fire would be enough to burn the bad omen and purification…And with your fucking body I'll mark it as the beginning of something new.'

Once the flames died down what was left was a charred exoskeleton of the scorpion pure black, burned to a crisp. However, it was still seen to be moving struggling, and screaming from the scorching heat that it experienced. The Scorpion eager to live began to struggle with all its might trying to move to whatever it can.

The sunset from the light of day as it gradually went dark. It was supposed to get dark when the sun sets, however, just for this day when everything went dark a fiery light encompassed the darkness.

The Magic that Arthas performed over and over again illuminated the shadows with great destruction as it swept every corner of the village with heat that evaporated most of the blood that was left on the ground.

Flames of fury enveloped the area near the large silhouette with bright eyes that glowed spectral red. It sat down curled up in a position that seemed comfortable. He was looking at the guy that was holding his right arm forward. With a shout from that person, pillars of flame began to spread with him being the epicenter. It was like a demon was summoned to burn the world.

Arthas glared at the motionless Scorpion that seemed to be undying, its legs practically burnt to nothing. The exoskeleton cracked and was wide open, charred, and unmoving. Everything that was once alive was now burned.

The blood that was stained upon the body of the monster was nowhere to be found, the organs and intestines that were supposed to be inside of the scorpion were non-existent. Burned by the flame of retribution.

After a while, the flames died down and soon it became dark. Arthas felt weak from the fact that he wasted a lot of mana just to kill a monster that was on the verge of death. Its struggle was hard fought but hopeless and just despair. He didn't know how much mana he spent but he knew that it was more than what was he capable of.

Breathing a deep sigh, he looked around to see what was happening. There he saw the ground around him melted, hot red, and nothing but death. The houses that were on the ground burned with the scorpion as his flames penetrated not just the hard exoskeleton but the light materials that were easy to catch on fire.

It was a sight that he wasn't familiar with, but he knew that he soon needed to familiarize himself with it.

Turning back he saw Maria and other villagers scramble into finding their loved ones, their families that were lost and possibly buried in the rubble. Looking for any signs that would be unnoticeable hoping that their loved individual would be alive. It was a sad sight to see in Arthas's eyes, he was prepared to take responsibility for the scorpion's actions. He was the reason why such an event even existed.

A low growl was heard from beside him where he saw the rex seemingly unaffected by the heat and lying down with a body part of the Scorpion.

He saw the guy looking at him as if saying that he did his job and let him take a rest, his head was on the ground and his eyes were slowly closing. It was resting from the fight that it just had experienced, and Arthas wasn't surprised by the reaction as the scorpion that they just faced was more than shocking from its strength and prowess that it displayed alone.

Arthas wasn't even sure about the power system about how they were continuously growing, however, he knew from the fact that it would only continue from here on and more casualties would pile up. He needed to kill them all real fast.

"Thank you," Arthas said to the Rex with solemn and sincere peace.

"Oh right, I should also name you." It was that time again and he wasn't sure about what to name as he thought long and hard.

Arthas was thinking hard when he heard a baby cry. He looked back once more and saw a wonderful scene that would only be said as emotional, Arthas saw families hug each other, mourning for one another, looking for their loved ones.

Tears gently scrolled down their cheeks as they meticulously listen and look. It was a scene that he was glad to see, everything went well but not everyone was okay.

'Ah, Family, the perfect dream which I would never achieve, it lies in which all hopes and dreams are conquered and made. Though there might be mishaps but a simple and free family would be considered happy and loveable. In my case, however, I don't think I would be able to experience such a thing'

Arthas's eyes widened from the idea that just came into his head. The ideals and concepts of this beautiful structure of a family were constructed from the social construct and familial reasons that were brought forth by longing and acceptance. It was something that everyone wanted in the world, it was a perfect scenario in which no one would cry, mourn, or dread these feelings once again. It was a perfect scenario in which everything would only happen in a dream.

====================

[The name of your (Rex) shall be 'Morpheus' Please confirm]

[YES] [NO]

=====================

[YES]

And Someday Arthas wishes that he too would make his dream a reality. A family that cherishes him as much as he cherishes them.

Arthas looked back and saw countless corpses and dismembered limbs that were all over the village and the cause of all this destruction was him, he cannot fathom the fact that his stupidity was the reason for their demise.

'Yes, Morpheus, you'll be another name bearer of my sins. I'm sorry but please burden it with me, I'll somehow make it up to you.'

Arthas tried to walk to where Maria was when a sudden red notification appeared in front of him, he was taken by shock and casually step back and began to read what was on the screen.

It was then a warning appeared on his screen as a precaution was stated from the overused mana that his body consumed. He wasn't surprised as he used Incinerate more than he could count, he was honestly surprised about the assimilation system being used. Arthas was also bothered about how we were able to constantly use Incinerate without immediate drawbacks and now he knows the reason.

The world turned upside down for Arthas, and the effects of overexerting himself have finally taken effect.
