Chapter 10 - Garden Of Wonders

Time continued to pass and as the seasons changed it began to get colder outside, but luckily because they now lived in the south part of the country of Sapphirous, the cold wasn't anywhere near as bad as it was up north. The Date is December 24th, A holiday celebrating the birth of the God Queen who established the country of Sapphirous as well as Gami's birthday. The kingdom of Whalo was lit up by magical lights all throughout, flying multicolored lanterns flew high above the city illuminating the skies.

The air was filled with the sweet scent of tropical candles and wood fires, and the sound of carolers singing joyful hymns of the God Queen's accomplishments. Lily was now four months pregnant with a size-able baby bump to boot. Unbeknownst to Gami, his beautiful wife lily had the maids help her decorate the house to celebrate his birthday. The house was decorated with strings of twinkling magical lights.

The living room was filled with the warm glow of a crackling fire in the fireplace, and the smell of fresh pine and cinnamon. Lily spent hours in the kitchen with one of the maids preparing a large red velvet cake for Gami, the sweet aroma of vanilla and chocolate filling the air.

Gami arrives home from his trip visiting the duke. The sun had set and the kingdom of Whalo was now illuminated by the magical lights of the flying multicolored lanterns. When gami enters his home he is greeted by his four maids, and his lovely pregnant wife lily. The house was filled with the sweet aroma of vanilla and chocolate from the freshly baked cake.

"Welcome home my handsome prince, and happy birthday my love!" Lily said merrily. Gami was surprised by the effort his wife and their maids put in to celebrate his birthday. "That means it's been a year since we first met my love, thank you so much for all of your hard work. You are the best wife I could have ever dreamt for and I know you are going to be the greatest mother any child could ask for." Gami said to his wife happily. The living room was filled with the warm glow of a crackling fire in the fireplace, and the smell of fresh pine and cinnamon.

The God Queen tree in the corner was adorned with sparkling ornaments and colorful lights, casting a warm, festive glow over the room. The maids had set the table with fine china and silverware, and the rich aroma of a delicious meal wafted in from the dining room.

Gami smiled at his wife and said, "Thank you, my love. This is wonderful." He then turned to the maids and said, "Please, join us at the table. We would love to share this special day with all of you." The maids were delighted and took their seats at the table.

The room felt alive with the sound of laughter and chatter as they enjoyed their meal together. The maids shared stories of their hometowns and their families, while Gami and Lily listened intently.

After dinner, they all gathered around the fireplace and shared more stories. Gami's heart was filled with warmth and joy as he looked around the room, feeling grateful for the love and companionship of his wife and the maids.

As the night drew to a close, Gami and Lily thanked the maids for their company and wished them a good night's rest. They then retired to their bedroom, where Gami held Lily close and whispered, "Thank you for making my birthday so special. You are the light of my life, and I love you more than words can say."

The next morning, Gami had his security team ready a horse-driven carriage for him and his lovely wife Lily. Gami helped Lily get inside the carriage, and then he also got inside the carriage. Gami told the carriage driver to take them to see his wife's doctor for her pregnancy checkup.

They arrived at Dr. Ainswald's small practice where the doctor did a checkup on Lily to make sure all was well with her pregnancy. Ainswald then did an ultrasound on Lily by using a magical spell. "Congratulations, you are having twin girls!" Ainswald congratulated the happy couple.

Gami and Lily were overjoyed to hear that they would be having twin girls. They thanked Ainswald for his help and guidance. As they left the doctor's office, Gami turned to Lily and said, "We have so much to prepare for now, my love. We will have to start thinking about names, and decorating the nursery."

Lily smiled and replied, "I can't wait to start planning. But first, let's enjoy the rest of the day together."

Gami agreed and they decided to take a stroll through the kingdom. As they walked, they admired the beautiful architecture and the colorful gardens. They stopped at a small cafe for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal together.

After lunch, they continued their walk and stumbled upon a street performer juggling balls. Gami and Lily stopped to watch, and the performer noticed them and asked if they would like to participate.

Gami and Lily hesitated at first, but the performer was insistent. "It's all in good fun," he said. "Come on, give it a try!"

Eventually, Gami and Lily agreed to give it a go. They took turns juggling the balls, and the crowd cheered them on. It was a lighthearted and fun moment that they both would cherish forever.

As the sun began to set, Gami and Lily returned home, feeling happy and content. They spent the rest of the evening cuddled up by the fireplace, talking about their future and the new additions to their family.

Gami and Lily spent the next few weeks discussing names for their twin daughters. They wanted to choose names that were unique, yet meaningful. They went through dozens of baby name books, but nothing seemed to click.

One evening, as they sat by the fireplace, Lily turned to Gami and said, "What if we named them after our favorite flowers?"

Gami smiled, "That's a wonderful idea, my love. What flowers do you have in mind?"

Lily thought for a moment and then said, "I've always loved the name Camellia. It's classic and elegant, just like our daughters will be."

Gami nodded, "I agree. And how about Dahlia? It's a beautiful flower that symbolizes grace and inner strength."

Lily smiled, "Yes, Dahlia is perfect!"

Gami and Lily were thrilled with their choices. They felt that the names were perfect for their twin daughters, and they couldn't wait to meet them.

Five months went by, Gami and Lily prepared for the arrival of their daughters. They decorated the nursery with soft pink and purple colors, and they bought adorable outfits for the babies to wear.

April 26th, Year 108

Finally, the day arrived, and Lily went into labor. Gami was by her side, holding her hand and encouraging her through each contraction. After several hours of labor, Camellia and Dahlia were born, healthy and beautiful.

Gami and Lily were overjoyed to finally meet their daughters. They held them close, marveling at their tiny fingers and toes. As they looked into their daughters' eyes, they knew that their lives would never be the same.
