The room's light flickers incessantly, casting an eerie atmosphere as the temperature drops.
"Ahh! The time has come," Bethi mutters, her voice barely audible as she lies in the hospital bed.
Doctor: I'm sorry, but we can't help you.
Bethi manages a smile, though it carries a tinge of sadness, and lets out a heavy sigh. She closes her eyes, seeking solace in the darkness.
"It's warm," Bethi says softly, her eyes fluttering open.
Before her stretches a vast expanse of pure white, an endless room that defies comprehension. Bethi stands up and begins to walk, a mix of curiosity and trepidation guiding her steps.
"This must be the afterlife. I'm certain I'm going to hell," Bethi mutters, her voice tinged with both fear and resignation.
Suddenly, a colossal door looms into view. Without hesitation, Bethi strides towards it and swings it open.
Inside, she finds herself in a small room, illuminated by a massive screen. As she enters, something begins to play on the screen.
Bethi's breath catches in her throat as she realizes that the person on the screen is none other than Sejin!
Sejin, her childhood friend, cared for her deeply in this world. However, in the end, he lost his life because of her. Bethi never truly appreciated Sejin's feelings and consistently exploited his affection for her own selfish gain.
"Is this truly hell? Showing him to me... Why did you love me so intensely, Sejin?" Bethi cries out, her voice choked with emotion.
Bethi gradually realizes that what she's witnessing is Sejin's life history. The more she watches, the deeper her sense of regret, sadness, and grief becomes.
"This is the moment when Sejin first felt love for her," she murmurs, struck by the significance of the revelation.
