Isabella's POV
On getting to the edge of the forest, I did not hesitate like I normally did because it turned out that there was nothing to be afraid of in there. My worst fear - the cursed wolf, turned out to be the man who meant everything to me.
The sun was already rising but the forest was dark and eerily silent. However, I didn't mind all of that as I forged ahead, following the leading of my heart which seemed to know the way to Drey's cottage. I finally arrived at the clearing with the cottage standing right in the middle.
Just the sight of it made my heart skip, but there was no turning back now. I could sense Drey's presence so I was sure that he was in there. As I took a step closer, his voice came like a song from the darkness, causing me to freeze in place.
"Stay back!" He said.
