Andreas's POV
I asked Isabella to remain inside the room because I was sure the intruders had come to look for trouble. When I saw that it was Nigel who had brought soldiers to my mansion, I quickly lost my temper because I knew that he was acting on Phillip's orders. I couldn't understand why my brother was trying to provoke me, but it worked because I quickly lost it.
The way Nigel was demanding that I hand Isabella over to them was just outrageous. I thought it was disrespectful and when I saw that the soldiers had no fear for me, I decided to teach them a lesson.
The heavens knows that I tried really hard to keep my temper in check, especially when I perceived Isabella's scent. She was somewhere close, probably behind me, watching and that mere fact was the reason I was trying so hard to remain calm.
