Isabella's POV
As soon as Drey left the mansion, I immediately felt his absence. Everything became so quiet that all I could hear was the sound of my own breathing. Not wanting to dwell on any depressing thoughts, I dragged myself out of bed and decided to get some work done.
I figured that if I was going to live in this place, then I needed it to bring the place to life. It was going to be a hard chore but I could as well keep myself busy with that while waiting for Drey to return.
I went downstairs to the storage where I had found cleaning materials the previous day and I decided to start my cleaning from there. I also timed myself to be more efficient and it worked. It took me less than an hour to clean out the storage.
