Andreas's POV
Seated atop a rocky hill by the shore, I watched the waves and ocean tides in my wolf form. This ocean was referred to as the great river and it stood as a margin between the werewolf world and a world that was yet to be explored.
The ocean was endless and even with heightened vision, werewolves were unable to see beyond all the water. Due to all the mystery that surrounded my grandfather's, Yul's, background, werewolves believed that there would be an invasion from across the ocean someday.
Since the people were so wary, Phillip gave me the responsibility of watching the boarders. It was up to me to alert the werewolves in the case of a foreign attack. While many believed that I was doing just that, all I ever really did was listen to the water as it brought calm to my mind.
