"Young lady, wake up." Ashera felt a low tap on her shoulder, trying to wake her up.
She had fallen asleep from earlier encounter with the man who called himself, Wraven. She opened her eyes in a slow motion, adjusting her visions. Seems like the sun had already set. The raying crimson splurge of colors in the sky conjugated per the distant horizon. It's creating a scenery to embrace for. On the contrary, it reminded her of the fox-eyed man. The thought of him glaring at her brought shivers down to the deepest of her every tacks. Ashera could not fathom what reason it deduce as though attestation of none induced.
The surrounding was aching to enshroud the dim of the candlelight after a long bright milieu. "Apologies, was I sleeping for so long?" Ashera asked to the woman in front of her.
The woman was in her mid thirties, she presumed. 'Still, good looking yet close to pale,' Ashera thought. "It is completely alright, young lady. You were in fact so sound asleep that no one bothered to wake you up. However, I had rather ought to, for it is time for you to go down. The King and Queen are demanding for your presence antecedently. Rush of bloodline, indeed."
The woman then proudly took a hold of Ashera's hands. Old lass sure is delighted to see her at some extent. "Alright, what king and queen are you talking about? What is this place? Why am I here? How do I even take a pace here? Who are you? I have so many questions that 'so much' is not enough to plumb it, let alone none of you had cleared it to me yet. Not even the daring man earlier."
Ashera could not withhold herself from firing her words, knowing that she is more than baffled than the moments that has gone by. To further intensify her baffled thoughts, king and queen matter now is of existence. 'What rubbish it is' as she addressed so.
As she was drowning herself with overflowing thoughts, the attractive adult woman dressed in Victorian style but of such noble, caught her attention. "I am Tanya the peace keeper of this kingdom. I am not much obliged to disclose or rather furnish your curiosity with satisfaction. Thus, I offer you my deepest and most sincere apology, young lady. Welcome to Fairyland!" She welcomed.
Tanya gestured for a feminine bow before Ashera. Thus, made Ashera felt fairly uncomfortable all of the sudden. "It is completely a good matter, ma'am. However, I ought to know where did the man from earlier go?" Ashera has been wandering her sight hoping to catch a sight of Wraven, but he was nowhere to be seen, no sign at all.
"I beg your pardon, what man is that you query of?" Tanya muttered cluelessly. Which Ashera regarded with a questioning gaze. "Wraven. Yes, Wraven the man, indeed."
Afterwards, Ashera noticed the flabbergasted look on Tanya's face. As if she just heard something incredulous infinity. "Wraven, you say young lady?"
Ashera responded with a slight nod, still figuring out what is the matter with Tanya. Acting all fool or was she?
"This is so out of the blue. Not once did he shower this place with his presence ever since his oldest brother had perished and joined the heavens above."
Ashera let out a scorn not believing any of it. At some point, she is not processing what she just heard. "I beseech no more codswallop of a thing to hear. I could literally use some time wandering into the land of nod. This is just too much for my poor brain to load."
Tanya gave her an apologetic look. So does she offered her hands for Ashera to hold on to. "Thousand apologies, I shall not utter anything more in addition to the load of your thoughts, young lady. Now, if you would not mind, I will accustom you on taking your steps as of a piece of cake. Perhaps the fly if you sinews."
Ashera gladly took Tanya's hand. She did not waste no time doubting and held onto her firmly. "I understand that you feel so lightweight in this place. However, this has nothing to do with gravity. Some says this place is enchanted, especially to those who step in here for the first time with all conscious." Ashera did not quite catch everything that Tanya was babbling about. Though, she bothered not to interrupt as things might just come to light if she question less and listen more.
"We, people of this kingdom, can either float inches above the ground, fly, or walk normally. You, on the other hand is having trouble adjusting. Given that your ability and strength had weakened for more than a decade." Tanya continued. She squeeze Ashera by the shoulder in a comforting manner. Spiderwebs of gen blurred her hope that was emerging. One more blow and color will abandon Ashera's face, already.
Tanya could not withstand herself from seeing how much of a difficulty, processing the baffling data, the young lady is going through. Once again, she squeezed her shoulder, patting the young lass. She had braced herself quite a time ago for these occurrences. When she learned that Ashera would be the one to bring end to the agony of her fellow, she did not hesitate to do her duty as the peace keeper of the kingdom of fairyland.
"Take your time, for these may seem absurd for you to catch on an instant. However, fear not for this is not something to be bothered of." Tanya assisted Ashera to stand, and helped her take stance. "Now, familiarize your body and align your weight to the nature of your surrounding. Slowly, take your pace as normal as you could."
Ashera followed what Tanya said, step by step. She tried it a couple of times and after several attempts, she finally was able to master it. She could now even roam around the shed like she is literally walking but in fact, she's actually floating.
"Thank you, ma'am. It was really hard for me to figure things out all by myself. I even fell but fortuitously, I was saved." Ashera offered Tanya a warming smile, so did Tanya.
Do not mention it, young lady. It is my duty to make everyone be of knowledged of how things work in this place, and please just call me, Tanya." Ashera gave Tanya a little pout as she reached for her hands.
"Well, then just call me Ashera, Tanya."
Tanya was taken back but eventually pulled herself together. "That would be daring of me, but if that is what you wish, then Ashera it is. Such beautiful name you have." They both giggled at it.
They were both on their way to the castle. Although, Ashera had seen the view from above, it is still as mesmerizing how things look down there. Everything looks gigantic but not more than the castle, itself. She had never seen anything like it in person. Still, it feels like a dream but of a lucid one to her.
"Here we are." Tanya came to a halt and turned to face Ashera. "The king and queen are eager to have a sight of you. They have been waiting for your arrival, Ashera. Allow yourself to be of presence before their eyes."
Tanya stated, caressing Aquira's face, thus giving her a very heartwarming smile.
Ashera started on her way to the castle. She could not explain what she was feeling at the moment. "Oh heavens this is unreal, I feel like the ground might eat me alive, anytime soon." As she directed towards the two people in the center of the massive hall, sitting on the cozy and majestic chairs, her heart began to beat a lot faster.
