Chapter 31 - Worries

Tears welled in Ethan's eyes as he turned his attention back to Delphine's twin sister.

He spoke with unwavering determination "No, I refuse to accept that. I will find a way to save her and we will be free! Our people will resist and you'll pay for this!"

Coralia weakly raised her head, a glimmer of hope flickering in her eyes.

"Ethan, it's too late for me. But promise me this, keep fighting for Atlantis and don't forget me..." she whispered.

Ethan's voice trembled as he clasped the cold iron bars, his eyes fixed on Coralia's cell.

"I promise you, I will keep fighting with my own life. But I also promise that I won't let you die!"

Delphine's sister managed a weak smile, showing her gratitude despite her weakened state.

"Don't think about me, Ethan. Time is not on our side. Atlantis needs you."

As the guards approached to push him away from the cell bars, he took one last longing look at Delphine's sister, etching her fragile form into his memory.
