"Do you believe me now?" Delphine asked him, hoping for a positive answer.
Wide-eyed, Dorian turned his gaze towards Delphine.
He felt amazement and curiosity at the same time.
"Delphine... unless you're using some kind of magic trick, this is truly incredible. I've known you for years, and I never would have imagined that you were able to do that because you're... a mermaid."
Delphine's eyes shimmered with relief and trepidation.
The truth was a heavy burden to carry alone, and she needed Dorian's understanding and acceptance.
He was her best friend and she needed him.
She approached him cautiously.
"Dorian, I know that it's difficult to believe. But everything I've told you is the truth" she said.
