In a dark room there lay a young man on the bed. His sheets were full of dry patches, those were the traces of the tears shed by Shaun.
He still couldn't believe that his mother died. The only person he could lean on every time during difficult times was now gone.
What should he do in the future without his mother at his side?
Just the mere thought of facing tomorrow without her, immediately made his heart clenched with pain.
But he knew he couldn't stay like this...
After a month of grieving, Shaun decided to visit the places he previously went with his Mother.
Perhaps... The pain he was feeling will become less by recalling the memories with his mothet.
The first place he decided to visit was the last restaurant where they ate together. A simple Chinese restaurant.
He took a seat in a corner and decided to order his and his mother's favorite food, a sweet and sour pork.
He brought his phone out and took a selfie. After doing so, he posted it on Stargram with a caption: 'Never would have thought that I am now alone taking a selfie. #iMissYouMother'
After posting the photo, many of his fans left comments immediately:
'Welcome back, my hubby'
'I know you are hurt, as your fans we understand if you take more time to recover from your loss.'
'Hope you are recovering well, Shaun!'
Taking a selfie before eating in a restaurant was a routine he always did together with his mom, but now, he was all alone.
At every bite he would suddenly remember his mother, the way she would reprimand him for eating too fast and then choke... The way his mother would drag him in a mall to buy clothes...
There were many memories he had with his mother.
After he was done eating, Shaun continued to walk around the Star City. Visiting every place he had been together with his mom.
Even if he knows that by doing so he would be constantly reminded that she was already dead, he straightened up himself and got the courage to face this reality. The reality of knowing that his mother will never return at his side again.
As he sat in a park, he looked at the four point star monument erected in the middle of the park.
This was a monument constructed during the initial phase of Star City. Each side pointed exactly towards North, South, East and West.
While he was staring at the monument, he remembered that his mother left him a compass.
He took out the compass from his neck.
He had been putting this compass on as a necklace ever since his mother died, he didn't even take it off while sleeping or even taking a bath. Fortunately, the compass was waterproof so it wasn't ruined.
"This compass is pretty normal, why did my mom leave it to me? Also... Don't people these days use GPS? What does this do?"
Shaun was baffled on why his mother gave a compass to him, she even put this on the bank for safety until this was given to him.
Was there something special in the compass?
Looking back and forth the compass and the monument, he started to notice that the compass was pointing in the wrong direction.
According to the monument signs, the compass is pointing towards the South.
Completely opposite to the North, which was what a compass should be pointing out in the first place.
At first he thought that the compass was broken, but suddenly it changed to another direction. Now, it was pointing towards East.
"This must be really broken, it points in any direction. Even if it is broken, this is the only momento given to me by Mom. I will be taking care of it as it is."
Spending the whole day walking around the city made Shaun exhausted.
To him this was his normal walking routine, while to the bystander, they wouldn't even notice every step he would make. It was very silent like a wind that gently blew.
Even the assassins stalking Shaun nearly lost track of him for at least 18 times, if only Shaun didn't stop every time to rest, they might have lost his track since the beginning.
Upon returning home Shuan turned on the TV and watched the news.
"There is a newly discovered dungeon on the Southern part of the city, it is on an abandoned land on the Kaio hill. The authorities are now enclosing the area to prevent people from entering the vicinity of the new dungeon and wait for the news coming from the Star Sect at which level the dungeon is rated at."
Hearing that a dungeon was newly discovered, Shaun suddenly felt interested.
Maybe he should go explore a dungeon to change pace.
He took out his phone and logged in on Strarwitter to ask his fans. 'Who is available for an outing next week? Let's visit the new dungeon!'
A minute didn't even pass as he received many likes and retweets immediately, there were even people who already typed their comments to his post.
'It isn't too bad to visit a new Dungeon after a month of grieving.'

On a meeting room at the Kang's Family compound, 5 people were discussing a new plan after Shaun posted on Strarwitter.
"So that's it, let's kill him in the dungeon. People will think he died while battling some monsters." The guy in the middle said. He is the one that usually plans for their mission, the leader.
"Yes! We agree!" The shorter guy at the side said.
"This is a good idea" The tall one replied.
"Neither the Star sect will suspect that it is a murder." The fatty added.
"For the meantime let's just act like his fans are waiting for his updates on his Strarwitter. All of you turn the notification on his account, understood"
This was the only suggestion that the leader could propose for the meantime, although it was basic following Shaun in his Strarwitter. It was still the best choice they currently had.
"Yes, Leader!"
All the assassins took out their phone and logged on to their own Strarwitter account to turn on the notification at Shaun's account.
