Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"W-What are they doing?!"

"Why hasn't he come to meet me yet?"

Noir was feeling devastated that the man he wanted to serve seems to have forgotten about the other Primordials he needs to subdue before he can be called the King of Hell.

But how can this be?!

Noir was sure that Satan would surely seek to subdue all Primordials before conquering Hell. So he decided to wait for him.

But it has been years and Satan remained still in his territory, never conquering more land nor even showing signs of wanting to meet the remaining two Primordials.

And he was already starting to worry.

Should he go and meet Satan personally?

But what if Satan was offended by his unannounced visit and refused to acknowledge him as a servant? That would be bad.

Noir was convinced that Satan will be one in whom the world will show the 'truth', something which he had been searching for, so Noir wanted to be with that person as he unveil it.

He observed Satan's territory.

It has become completely militarized. And pretty much all demons from White, Blue, Green, Purple, and Yellow Lineage have all been subdued and became his soldier.

Currently, Satan has a military force of more than 90 million lesser demons, more than 8 million greater demons, more than 700 thousand Arch Demon, and more than 700 Demon Peers.

All of them have been named and evolved, that's why there are so many Arch Demon and Demon Peers.

Noir couldn't understand why someone as distinguished as Satan would bother naming those weaklings. But he thought that it might because he is seeing something that Noir hasn't seen, so he wanted to observe what it was.

The entire territory was also full of military bases, with the smallest base having only around 300 lesser demons commanded by 3 greater demons.

Various facilities has been built with Satan's order, and even the "Gates" that Primordials deemed to not worth their time has been transformed into a military base with highest number of demons and officers.

"Well, Lord Satan seems to be a bit busy, so should I just wait? Or go and visit him? Hmm, what to do."

Noir pondered it, sitting on his throne while observing the crystal orb.

His thoughts were interrupted however, by a hand suddenly appearing and covering the glass orb.

"Hello Noir, let's have a spar. I'm bored."

Noir clicked his tongue as he glared at the long crimson-haired man who stood in front him, "Leave Rogue. I have no time to entertain you right now, I'm in a dilemma."

"Huh? What's more important than stretching your muscles." The man, Rogue, stood beside Noir and watched the orb on Noir's hands. "Hm? Isn't this the man who claimed to want to rule Hell?"

Throughout the years, words of Satan wanting to conquer Hell, and how he subdued the entire lineage of Yellow, Blue, Green, White, and Purple, spread to every corner of Hell.

Rogue, the Red Primordial, as the absolute overlord of Hell, of course heard of him. But he snorted in amusement and didn't pay much attention to it.

He was confident in his strength to fight even True Dragons. Though he hasn't fought one yet, but he doesn't believe that he would lose.

But now that Noir was observing him, maybe there is something to this so-called Satan that Rogue didn't see.

"Yes. Now leave." Noir narrowed his eyes at the Red Primordial, "I've got no time to waste with you."

"Hey, mind if I go and fight him?" Asked Rogue.

"Hoh?" Noir turned his eyes at Rogue, "Going straight for the king are we? I won't allow it. At least you need to beat me before you go ahead and bother him."

"Seems interesting, wanna have a go?" Rogue grinned, hands on his hips as he slightly bend his back backwards and stared straight at Noir.

The malevolent dark aura leaked out of his body, exerting physical pressure on the surroundings.

"Fufufu," Noir laughed, his eyes narrowed at Rogue as he also released his own aura, "If that is what you want, I would gladly accompany you, Rogue."

Their aura clashed, causing severe damage on the surroundings.

The air was shaking as the two strongest Primordials stared at each other.

Just when Rogue was about to make a move, Noir suddenly retracted his aura and turned his gaze back to the orb.

"But like I said, I have no interest in you anymore Rogue. Leave."

"W-What!?" Rogue stared at Noir in disbelief. "What do you mean!?"

"I'm busy. Leave."

Noir was already starting to get annoyed at Rogue. Can't he see that he is extremely busy right now? He was in a dilemma! What if he doesn't meet with Satan now and he will be forgotten? Or what if he meet Satan now and he will be infuriated by the unannounced visit?

Should he send a messenger first then?

But Noir doesn't have any subordinates because he finds them troublesome.

Should he go and find some then?

"Hey, Noir! What do you mean by that!?"

Noir blinked, turning towards Rogue with a confused look, "You're still here?"

"You—," Rogue's cheek twitched, "You're really annoying. Well, whatever. I think I found a new partner to play with, anyway."

Noir frowned, coldly staring at Rogue, "I swear it Rogue, if you bother him before he finished his job, I will hunt you down to end of Hell."

Rogue just snickered, "Don't worry. I'll let you play with him first before taking my turn. I will wait for you, Noir."

With that, Rogue left Noir's territory under the Black Primordial's cold eyes.

...…

...

"Now, it's ready." Satan smiled in satisfaction as he stared at the hundreds of thousands of Gryphon lined up in front of him.

A Gryphon is a creature with the body of a lion, head of an eagle, and also a pair of wings.

They are born from a cloud of Magicules that Satan secretes and molded; each of them are spiritual life-forms with power no weaker than a Greater Demons.

Satan modeled them for speed and agility, with impeccable maneuvering skills.

He created them for demons to ride, and create an 'Air Force'.

It is true that Demons possesses wings, giving them an ability to fly, but that's it. Unless you're an Arch Demon, flying in high speeds and maneuvering is nigh impossible.

Satan intends for some Greater Demons to partner up with these Gryphons.

Back in Earth, Satan studied everything about that planet so that he may use it once he rule it in the future; military, politics, history, economics, etc. He learned it all.

And because of that, he knew just how important Air superiority is when it comes to warfare.

"Now then, what should I call this new branch of my military; Gryphon Knights? No, too noble. Gryphon Riders? …hmm."

Satan have separated his military into several branches;

The Infantry Division, having 13 different units and each consists of two million lesser demons and some greater demons.

The Saber Division, having ten different units and each of them consisting of a hundred thousand greater demons who specializes in swordsmanship.

The Lancer Division, having ten different units and each of them consisting of a hundred thousand greater demons who specializes in the use of spears or lances.

The Caster Division, consisting of 12 units and each consisting of a million demons ranging from lesser demons to arch demons.

The Hell's Guard, unlike the name, only guards Satan himself. They consists of all 700 or so Demon Peers that have evolved from Arch Demon after being named by Satan.

There are also other branches such as the Patrol Guards who patrols every corner of Satan's territory; Logistic Command who managed and develops activities of command, coordination and control about logistic formations of Satan's army; Intelligence Division in charge of gathering intel; Magic Research Division in charge of developing spells and magic; Equipment Development Division in charge of developing equipments; and Worker Divisions in charge of building various facilities.

Now he should probably add the Gryphon Riders …Gryphon Knights? Gryphon Air Force? Airborne Division?

He still can't decide a name.

"Your majesty,"

Suddenly, a beautiful blue haired woman with dark blue eyes and a pair of jagged horns, wearing a maid outfit, appeared behind Satan, kneeling.

"Misora?" Satan looked over his shoulder and stared at the newly arrived demon, "what is it?"

Misora is part of the Hell's Guard, a Demon Peer that is assigned to protect and attend to Satan at all times. They were all dressed as maids and butlers, and are all under the command of Rhein and Mizari.

"Yes. Your Majesty, the 'magic ore factory' you have made built has now started producing magic ore. You mentioned that I should immediately inform you should this happen."

The magic ore factory is precisely as it sounds. A factory for producing magic ore. It was built underground, where Satan used more than half of his magicules and stored it there before dumping a whole lot of minerals down there.

Magic ore is just an ore that is formed due to high concentration of mana, and so Satan tried to 'artificially' make it. After all, magisteel that is from magic ore is a very important material used to make high quality items.

Of course, with that large concentration of magicules, it is natural for monsters to spawn there. But they were all culled and used by his demon army to practice.

"I see. Thank you for informing me." Satan nodded, "I will come and see it later. I want to be alone for now."

"Understood." With that, Misora retreated back and disappeared in the shadows.

Satan sighed as he turned his gaze back to the army of Gryphons.

'Alright, what should I name them?'

Yes, for Satan, coming up a name for this new unit is far more important than a magic ore.

He got his priorities straight.
