Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Enchanting Melodies and Veiled Secrets

kelvin, maya and joel arrived at the shakan coven's temple shortly after. they were welcomed by the shakan priestesses, who ushered them into the main hall.

They were greeted by many familiar faces, including the priestesses of the coven. The priestesses wore traditional dresses, which consisted of long skirts and long sleeves, embellished with gold thread. Their dresses accentuated their feminine figures, while their jewellery made them even more attractive.

Joel spotted Olivia among the ushering witches, the girl he had a crush on. As Joel looked among the ushering witches, his gaze fell upon Olivia, the object of his desire and the very reason for him being there.

He noticed that she just stared at him, and he returned her stare, hoping to catch her attention

As their eyes met, he subtly gestured to her with a nod and blushing face, indicating his interest. Olivia's response was a warm smile and a wave back, acknowledging Joel's presence and indicating that she was happy to see him.

The hall was packed with people from different species; vampires, witches, demons, werewolves, humans, and even a few mystery species. The temple was filled to capacity with people who were eager to witness another grand ceremony.

kelvin looked around the hall, impressed with the architecture and decorations. he was awed by the sheer size of the hall, the intricacy of the design, the opulence of the furniture and the richness of the tapestries adorning the walls.

Kelvin kept looking around, hoping to spot Alisha, his mystery lady.

"alright ladies and gentlemen, welcome! please take a seat!" Gangia announced.

kelvin, maya and joel sat down in the middle row of seats as the ceremony began.

Kelvin spotted Alisha, his mystery lady at the other side of the hall. He smiled and waved at her, trying not to give away his emotions. She seemed surprised and confused

She looked at him from afar, puzzled, and then turned around not recognizing who it was, she head to the back of the hall. Kelvin followed her, hoping to catch her attention.

Kelvin smiled at Alisha, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "Well hello there, Mystery. You look even more enchanting than the last time I saw you," he said, his voice dripping with charm.

Alisha blushed, feeling a flutter in her heart. "And you, Shadow, are still as mysterious as ever," she replied, trying to keep her composure.

Kelvin chuckled, swirling the glass of red wine in his hand. "Mystery and Shadow, huh? Maybe we should stick to those nicknames, they seem to suit us well."

Alisha laughed, feeling at ease with Kelvin's company. "I don't mind that at all."

As they chatted, Kelvin couldn't help but feel drawn to Alisha's intelligence and wit. He was impressed by her knowledge of the supernatural world and her ability to hold her own against him.

Finally, Kelvin decided to reveal his true name and identity which Alisha was already aware of. "You know, Mystery, my real name is Kelvin Daniel, a wrathful and ambitious reaper. And I have to say, I'm impressed by your powers as a witch, the heiress of the Shakan Coven? Girl am jealous."

Alisha smiled, feeling a sense of relief that she could finally call him by his real name. "And my name is Alisha Shakan. It's nice to finally know who I've been longing to meet all this time."

Kelvin was amazed." Oh, really? Same here".

"Friends?" Kelvin asked with a charming smile, his hand pointed forward to shake Alisha. "Friends." Alisha added in agreement to be officially friends with Kelvin.

Just then, Maya approached them, looking apologetic. "I'm so sorry, Kelvin. I have to leave" she kissed him on his cheeks. "hey Alisha." She said to Alisha as she was turning round to take her leave.

"Maya right? The furious one of the Daniels" Alisha stated, she had bad blood with Maya.

Kelvin avoided the question, not wanting to reveal too much about his family. How about a dance, Mystery? The dance floor has just been announced."

She placed her hand gently at Kelvin's opened palm pointing towards her with a glance of smile.

Alisha grinned, feeling a sense of excitement. "I'd love to, Shadow."

As they danced, Kelvin and Alisha felt a connection that went beyond their supernatural identities. They laughed, flirted, and joked around, enjoying each other's company.

As they keep showing their steps, Kelvin leaned in and whispered in Alisha's ear, "I may be a vampire, but I promise not to bite."

Alisha laughed, feeling a sense of comfort and trust in Kelvin's words. "I believe you, Kelvin. And I can't wait to see where our friendship takes us."

Alisha was wearing a stunning emerald green gown that hugged her curves in all the right places. The dress had a low-cut neckline that accentuated her slender neck and delicate collarbones. The fabric flowed gracefully down to the floor, trailing behind her as she dance.

As she moved across the dance floor, the dress swirled around her, creating a mesmerizing effect. It was clear that Alisha had put a lot of thought and effort into her outfit, and it had paid off. The dress brought out her inner beauty and highlighted her natural grace and charm.

As they danced, Alisha couldn't help but feel curious about the werewolf killings that had happened. She turned to Kelvin and asked, "Do you know anything about the werewolves deaths?"

Kelvin hesitated for a moment, knowing that he was the one who had killed the werewolves. He decided to change the subject, and as he turned Alisha around in a unique and impressive way, he replied with a playful smile, "Let's not talk about that now, Mystery. Let's focus on this dance instead."

Alisha laughed, feeling a sense of excitement as Kelvin led her in a series of intricate dance steps. She couldn't help but feel drawn to his charm and charisma, and she knew that there was more to him than met the eye.

While dancing, Kelvin spotted a bite mark of Alisha's wrist. He wasn't concerned at first, but he realized that it was a vampire bite.

"What happened to your wrist?" He asked.

"It's a long time ago, I don't want to talk about it, please." Maya said smiling.

As they continued to dance, Alisha couldn't shake off the feeling that Kelvin was hiding something from her. But she decided to trust him for now, knowing that she would eventually find out the truth.

Finally, as the dance came to an end, Kelvin took Alisha's hand and led her outside the hall. They stood under the moonlight, gazing up at the stars.

"It's a beautiful night," Alisha said, breaking the silence.

Kelvin nodded, his eyes fixed on the stars. "Yes, it is. And there's so much more to explore in the supernatural world."
