Melissa stumbled into Maxwell's swanky apartment, moaning about her aching feet. "I can't take another step," she groaned.
Maxwell flashed a sly grin. "Well, you are carrying a whole squad in there," he quipped, leading her to the couch.
Melissa collapsed onto the plush leather cushions, propping her feet up on the coffee table. "How did you know it's two boys and a girl?" she asked with a hint of amusement in her voice.
Maxwell shrugged nonchalantly. "I just have a sixth sense about these things," he joked. "What what would like to have for lunch?"
"Anything that'll fill me up," Melissa replied, rubbing her belly. "I'm eating like a horse these days. I'm gonna be a chubby little thing soon."
Maxwell chuckled. "I can already picture it," he teased, and Melissa playfully stuck out her tongue.
