Several days later, Aubrey headed to the Korotkoff manor feeling extremely anxious. There she was greeted by a surprised looking Valentin. Despite Aubrey being the cause of his son's injuries, the man was extremely pleased to meet a real life fae. And as for Aubrey, knowing that she was going into the home of another comrade, she didn't bother to wear her keepsake. For Aubrey, it was important to show her vulnerability which in turn proves her sincerity.
"Hello, Mr Korotkoff." Aubrey greeted the man politely.
"You must be Aubrey! The fae! I've heard all about you." Valentin gushed and then he looked contrite.
"I'm sorry for your loss." The older man said as he led Aubrey to the living room. Afterwards he signaled for the butler to call Dimitri who was currently outside practicing the use of his prosthetics.
"Thank you. Mr Korotkoff I'm so sorry for what happened to Dimitri. All of this was because of me."
