Davian got home as fast as he could. He saw Silvia at the patio, she didn't use the dining table but took time to prepare a table and two chairs at the patio.
Her head was on the table, 'Was she asleep?' he thought.
He moved closer to her and squatted by her side when he got to her. She was sleeping, his hand reach out to touch her but he halted. It eventually brushed on her arm.
He could feel the goosebumps and she was so cold, she must have been out for long. His hand removed some strands of hair from her face and he could see traces of tears on her cheeks.
'Was she crying?' he thought again. The thought that he made her cry, crushed him ten times over.
"I'm sorry," he whispered and her eyes flutter open like butterfly wings on hearing his voice.
She raised her head, "Davian,"
He put some roses which he had bought on his way home, he put it in her hands, his eyes caught sight of the necklace he had gave her, on her neck.
