Silvia was speechless. She didn't know how to respond. He caress her cheek once more.
"I knew I always had something for you, I expected it to die off but instead, it grew day by day the more I spent time with you.
"And after kissing you that day at our engagement party, I knew that what I was feeling was beyond mere affection. I was already deeply in love with you." he explained. He has had feelings for her for that long.
He brought her head to his chest and rested it there. He knew she was taken aback by his confession and things might not be the same after this.
"You don't have to say anything today. Let's just sleep," he added.
